Allayen was a breath of fresh air and renewed my faith in estate agents. After first being harassed daily by relentless ‘Foxtons’ estate agents from different branches all trying to rent me the same flat charging fees left right and centre I stubbled across Rosewood Estates via a property search. Rosewood only seemed to have the best properties on offer and after an initial consultation at the first property (we didn’t end up choosing this option) Allayen seemed to get us and what we wanted. We were very particular in what we wanted, Allayen understood and said he will send over a property that he had in mind. Instead of just sending over all the properties he had even though they didn’t meet our criteria, Allayen actually listened. He sent over the perfect property which was exactly what we wanted. His communication throughout the whole process was unparalleled and he charges minimal to no fees unlike a lot of other agents. More so we had a couple of problems that we needed to sort in our move and he was always at the end of the phone ready to help and go above and beyond. I doubt I will be moving again for a while as we love our new place but if I do I will not hesitate to go directly back to Rosewood and will not deal with any of the other hound dogs that run the industry. I would definitely recommend Allayen and Maureen (Rosewood Estates) to let out your property. They are very efficient, honest (which should be a normal thing but when you have used the usual letting agencies on the High Street who will only be interested in you until such time that they have collected their commission) and you will truly appreciate their honest feedback even if it may differ from your opinion, because in the long run, they have many years of experience in this industry and they pride themselves on their reputation. Initially, before my flat was let, an unexpected situation arose at the flat which i did not expect on a Friday afternoon. At that time, even though until then I dealt only with Allayen, without going into too much details, Maureen in his absence due to leave was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in terms of going the extra mile to ensure that everything was ready for the Saturday morning. I could not praise her anymore, and given that we never spoke to each other prior to that date, since I only dealt with Allayen up to that point, this is something that is extremely rare if not, then non-existent in the Lettings industry where Agents are so consumed with their commission only and not going the extra mile. As for Allayen, who previously managed my flat whilst I was abroad for most of the time previously, I only have words of praise. I had fewer issues with Allayen managing my flat over a two year period whilst I was abroad, compared to a famous High Street Letting Agent who let my flat for three months whilst I was in the UK. So in summary, my advice to fellow Landlords in general, is to stay away from High Street Letting Agencies who bamboozle you with their brochures and empty promises, and give opportunities to boutique letting agents such as Rosewood for all the reasons I have mentioned above.
