I recently sold my flat in SE1 through Savills Wapping. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Chloe and her team set my expectations from the outset and told me what I could expect to achieve. Other estate agents had told me that I would get more and initially I requested that the property be listed at a higher price. We had very little interest, but once I reduced it to Chloe's recommended price, the enquiries flooded in and I sold it at slightly more than I expected! Chloe and Jacob were extremely helpful throughout the process and I would recommend them to anyone. Their professionalism and communication was second to none and they are without doubt the best estate agents I have dealt with in London and even in the UK! I must also say that their photographers, web and social media experts were amazing. Bottom line - if you are selling a property in this area, don't even think about using anyone else. They are the best by miles!

We purchased a flat through Savills (Wapping) and have nothing but praise for Max and Chloe, who chased the purchase through to completion. Initially, we had an offer accepted to purchase a flat, which ultimately fell through due to the seller being unresponsive and giving contradictory information to Savills and our solicitor. The process was deliberately delayed for over a month (causing us to miss the deadline for the stamp duty holiday) but this was entirely due to the seller. Savills chased the seller persistently and tried everything to make the transaction go through. When this happened, we were offered an early viewing of a property that had just been valued. We agreed a price with the seller within a day, and have moved in less than a month later. Savills were extremely professional throughout and made sure that there was a fast and clear line of communication between us and the seller. I cannot recommend their service highly enough!

Selling a flat in Wapping - Savills were very professional, not only taking good photos, marketing well and finding a buyer but also at communicating with both me and the buyer throughout, highlighting any issues they saw early, and asking me to step in at appropriate times to accelerate the process. One example of this - they alerted me very early that my husband’s name on the deed was spelt slightly wrongly, which might have caused an issue, and I got it resolved early rather than holding up proceedings at the end.

As a renter, I felt that I was well looked after and was well-informed throughout the entire renting process whether it was during my general search, property viewings and even after I have moved in. I have previously rented with Savills Earl’s Court two years ago and found them great as well but renting with Savills again, and this time through the Wapping office, has truly been amazing. It is really evident that Savills care about renters and are willing to go above and beyond in terms of welcoming us into our new home. Last year, I rented from Knight Frank and found the service to be a stark contrast to that of Savills’. Knight Frank were uncommunicative and unhelpful - they practically ignored me the moment I signed the lease and I was left without blinds in my property for a good 4 months. I had a terrible experience with them. But as mentioned, the renting from Savills Wapping was completely different. Their communication and follow through was swift and I have never experienced this with another agency before. I noticed issues with my lights and within the same day I emailed the Savills team I was given a prompt response and an electrician was scheduled to come in to fix the problem. I would like to highlight David Smith, the lettings negotiator I worked with, in particular. David has been immensely kind, helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. While renting could potentially be a nightmare, this time around, renting has never been so easy! David was easy to contact and always made time to run me through the contract and any questions I had. If he did not have answers or if I required further assistance, he always put me in touch with the relevant point of contact and would follow up in a few days to make sure the issue was resolved. I find this service and attentiveness stellar, and really positions the Savill’s wapping team as a trusted and highly professional lettings agency. I honestly have nothing but good things to say.
