He not only was very efficient in getting back to all my questions and up speeding the process with the landlord but he was also so kind to show me the neighbourhood and the places around. The agents at Shaws were extremely helpful in securing our property. They bent over backwards to negotiate for us when we were up against offers from other companies and were ultimately the reason that we got the place. Romina was our main point of contact and was so kind and helpful. It was a pleasure working with her! Update - the sales process was one of the best we experienced, but afterwards we didn’t have the greatest experience. The landlord had an issue he needed to fix with the gas lines prior to us moving in and asked us to push back our move day by 2 weeks (which we were fine with as we thankfully had some flexibility on our side with our current place). Shaws confirmed the new move in date and we proceeded as normal. The week of our move we set up our standing order and had even moved over our utilities, cancelled our internet etc. The Thursday before move in - we were contacted by shaws with a waiver from the landlord saying that the gas leak might not be fixed and would we be willing to move into a (cold) Gass less flat with no safety certificate while also waiving all of our tenancy rights. We were shocked as this was the first time we had heard that there was a possibility the gas would not be fixed by our new pushed back move date. We indicated that we weren’t comfortable with the arrangement but would like some clear timelines as to when the flat gas issues would be fixed by and discuss a new move date. At that stage we were put in touch directly with the landlord who indicated that he would know more on Friday (literally the day before we were due to k or in) but he wouldn’t give any indication as to timelines until Friday. Friday comes around and he assured us he would have more info on timelines. He was not apologetic at all about the predicament he was putting us in as we originally thought we had a drop dead move out date (again thankfully our current place was able to be more flexible). Friday evening comes around and he still doesn’t have an update on when this issue would be fixed and completely ignores our questions as to when. We decided to pull out of the lease because of how not forthcoming he was being and how shady not having the gas fixed and the waiver of rights had been. I believe that shaws was also taken advantage of by this landlord - however - I do believe that their team should have been on top of making sure the flat was ready for our move in date and flagged the issue to us much earlier. The first time shaws informed us of the issue potentially not being fixed was 2 days before our move in date and that was simply not acceptable. We felt as tho they should have flagged it earlier and that they should have been staying up to date with the situation in order to inform us of the progress. We were faced with the unfortunate choice of moving into a flat that hadn’t had all of the legal certificates signed off or potentially have to rent short term because of our current flat lease running out. Shaws was very helpful in reimbursing all of our deposits and making sure things were wrapped up. We appreciated that that part of the process was not a hassle. We saw the property we were due to rent delisted with two other agencies the following week for a higher rental price. Beware of that landlord !

Worked with Jack predominantly and also Olivia in the Lettings team. Found Shaws really friendly and helpful. Jack showed us around a number of properties and was very keen to help but never felt like he was pushing us to make a decision, giving us the time and space to decide what was best for us. I find that a rare but important quality in an Estate Agent given the pressures of commission. All the properties we were shown were in excellent condition or being revamped. We'd been shown terrible properties by other estate agents previously where there were severe structural issues such as damp/mould. Shaws took pride in their shortlist of properties and make sure they're fit and ready for viewing - all of them were lovely. Would absolutely recommend working with Shaws for anyone wanting to move to the Baron's Court area of London - I certainly will be doing so again in the future.
