I can't say we have had the same level of service from all property managers, and some issues have been left for longer than we would have liked. Once we started asking persistently for something to be done, we did see results.

Since then, they have managed the rental of another flat. Suela is always helpful and responds very quickly and efficiently when I email her. She reminds me of servicing dates for boilers, tenancy renewal etc and arranges these and repairs as needed. Contact with both myself and the clients are always positive and nothing seems like too much trouble.
Would definitely use StowBrothers again if either renting or selling in the area.

The selling process started earlier this year meeting Eva Bouzaki, who showed a really good knowledge of the local and East London housing market, her valuation was spot on and set a realistic expectation. I invited Eva and another agent from a local competitor (who I never heard from again, not even a follow up call...), Eva started the ball rolling almost immediately sending the photographer and marketing the property. Eva was the perfect host on the open day, turning up on time and bringing with her lots of personality and enthusiasm!
Claudia Dellapina in the sales progression played a key role, providing me with regular updates and being the intermediary, especially when unnecessary delays were being caused by solicitors not communicating with each other or their clients! Extremely thankful to Claudia for turning things around on the final day of the stamp duty holiday and simultaneous exchange/completion on a chain of four! It nearly didn't happen and our solicitor had also given up by midday, thank you Claudia for making those vital calls/emails to the right people that afternoon to ensure the chain didn't collapse and the sale was completed!

We met two guys from the new homes team, Dan and Niall. Dan was really informative during the viewing, he firmly became one of the best agents we had engaged with during our search. His stakeholder management skills are very impressive, he was helping us with our solicitor, who was incredibly over worked and stressed but Niall managed this really well and knows how to navigate and communicate in these situations.

I don't know if this was a covid measure or whether the market in Walthamstow was just that busy, but they tended to offer a time slot on one Saturday morning only per property and they'd often book that up 1-2 weeks in advance rather than offering as and when viewings. At the time I was working every other weekend which meant we missed out on viewing quite a few places that looked lovely. That said, we couldn't be happier with where we've ended up! A. F.Firstly, stow brothers are a completely unique estate agents. They have a completely different approach to dealing with people and properties.
I was the seller for the property Jake is describing (the bad review), although his account is completely deluded. In a nutshell Jake wasn't the highest offer and 5 other people offered exactly the same amount. My wife was expecting our second baby and we were in a rush to move. A few days before exchange he decided he wants 25k off of the asking price. A week of negotiating, we agree to 10k reduction to hurry things along. For the next 1 month, after he changes mortgages, goes on holiday etc. We were desperate to exchange contracts but he is quite obviously ignoring all calls and emails to stall and wait for the 'Brexit' vote. It was quite obvious to us, but we had no choice but to wait and we certainly didn't think we would vote to leave the EU.
On the morning, he obviously drops out and says "he needs to take a step back and think".
We put the house back on 3 weeks later. We lose our purchase. Result in 3k out of pocket. When the house goes back on the market, and we have viewings lined up, he decides he wants to buy it again and puts in another offer.
This is my shortened version. He was a complete time waster and had a big problem with the fact that we profited from the sale as much as we did. The Stowbrothers rightfully won't deal with people who behave in a way which wastes peoples time and money.
During this stressful time, the Stowbrothers were amazing. The most perfect mediators and always very professional. Not like the typical slick back hair, shiny suits untrustworthy estate agents you meet most of the time. Lovely people too.
