I can highly recommend Rob Ford at Warrens. He helped us sell our house and has excellent knowledge in the field and always went above and beyond to help, even with the purchase of the new property. The fees were more reasonable than some ‘chain’ estate agents and I never felt that I was being pushed to do anything, unlike my experience with some agents. I found Rob to be honest and I trusted him to do his best for us.

Rob Ford was our agent. From the first to the fourth viewing Rob was so informed, patient, professional and worked very hard through our entire process. He sold our place by the second viewing, which secured funds to buy our future home. He navigated the chain with polite tenacity. All through the height of Covid. Then we asked for recommendations for mortgage brokers, movers, surveyors, lawyers, etc. He made it all possible. If we went with another company - or another agent- I’m not sure we would be in our wonderful home. Would not go anywhere else and can not say how much we value Rob’s work.

Warrens of Putney have managed several properties for me for over 20 years and counting! Matthew Macmillan has been responsible for the lettings department for many years and has always been my first point of contact at Warrens. I have never had any rental voids; the tenants, vetted by Matthew, have always been unproblematic, and the entire rental process is managed seamlessly by his team, from tenancy agreement, rent deposits, inventory check in & checkout as well as on-going management. On the rare occasions where there has been a potential conflict Matthew has always deflected the situation using his affable charm in a professional manner. I recently needed to find an agent to sell a two-bedroom flat in Hotham Road and I was most impressed by Mike Crowther from Warren. He made thoughtful observations during his first inspection and asked many pertinent questions. During a lengthy conversation the following day he gave a detailed breakdown of the work that would need to be done by any prospective buyer including approximate costings to back up his valuation and gave excellent advice about the best way to market the flat. Warren are not the cheapest agent in Putney in terms of their fee (they’re not expensive either) but they do offer the best value for money and there is no point for you as the vendor, saving money on the fee if you lose money on the sale. Doing some research led me to believe that some other agents operate a “pile them high, sell them cheap” approach preferring to do more sales quickly for reduced fees but not always getting the best outcome for their client. I was delighted to get so close to the asking price during this difficult period in the housing market and impressed at the commitment to chasing the lawyers to push the sale through in a sensible timescale. Mr. Crowther is definitely “one of the good guys”, a delight to deal with and from what I saw all the team at Warren are the same. A very easy five stars.
