We engaged Winkworth Highbury for the sale of our flat. Our initial contact was Katherine, who was very professional in guiding us about the best way to sell the flat and in achieving the right price. The flat sold (with multiple offers) straightaway and Katherine provided all feedback and offers in a very timely manner and she guided us really well until we agreed on a sale. Once the offer was accepted, Michael was our main contact for the sale of our flat and he is still actively helping us look for a property to buy. Throughout the process, which turned out to be quite complicated and long winded (due to Covid and due to our onward purchase), Michael was very professional, responsive and reliable. He maintained regular contact with us as sellers as well as with our buyers and this was key in ensuring that the sale went through smoothly. Winkworth in Highbury looked after the sale of our flat and the purchase of our new flat. Through out both purchases, the team were very supportive. In particular, a conveyancy expert was put on to keep the sales moving. This was really useful as she had the contact details of the buyer and seller, not just the solicitors, and could prompt them to prompt their own solicitors if slow. She also helped keep things on an even keel during the more tense times. Our estate agent also was at all times professional and empathetic, something you are led to not expect from estate agents!

I dealt with Katie and Clair at the Highbury office. Katie was very helpful when establishing our (demanding) requirements, she didn't keep sending unsuitable properties, and very soon came up with a new property which was exactly what we were looking for, and which we ended up buying. She was also always responsive with emails after the offer had been accepted, was always cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. Clair made a great effort to pull the sale over the line despite the reluctance of the vendors' solicitors to provide important information, and with Clair having to juggle a sick child. This was the best service I have received from an estate agent, I would use them again for a (hopefully far-off) sale, and I would definitely recommend them.

This is going back 1 year now. Basically, long story short, I was selling a shared ownership property in Highbury, never the easiest task, and to compound things the buyer's side were really dragging things out. Constantly raising trivial enquiries after previous enquiries had been answered, that sort of thing. The member of staff originally dealing with the sale was fairly new and things were slipping a bit. I was a little concerned as I wanted the sale wrapped up. Fortunately at this point Claire Aina, sales progression manager at the time, stepped in and sorted everything out. Hello, I have meaning to write this review for a long time. We were suppose to be moving into our new house in the Spring but it suddenly fell through about three weeks before I was due to give birth to our baby. We suddenly, desperately needed to find somewhere to rent as soon as possible as we were living with my partners brother and needed our own home and own space to bring the baby home to. Adam Fielding at the Highbury branch of Winkworth's was fantastic and it felt like he was prioritising us and took us to view around ten flats in quick succession. We found the perfect home on Balfour road, close to Highbury Fields which was such a fantastic area to be a new mum. Without Adam I don't know what I would have done as I was panicking.
