Once our offer went in, Anne took over the account and we quickly received a draft and then final contract. The company that Winkworth uses for the inventory is extremely detailed, however I recommend you read through the document carefully, as there was an error on our meter readings. We've been with Winkworth's for years, we initially rented with them until our flat became uninhabitable, due to a major water leak, for around 4 years (down to previous works on the block by the freeholder). Throughout those 4 years they kept our keys and allowed them to be picked up as and when for inspections etc. Also, we've had a few crazy situations with tenants and they have been brilliant in not just doing what we were paying them to do but also really helping out in stressful situations. Me and my family are based in Spain and without this support it would have been 10x as stressful. Also, from an admin point of view, payment of rent and delivery of monthly statements etc. we've been kept constantly up to date with what's going on so big thanks to Yanick!!
