C. C.As a landlord of over 22 years I have dealt with a number of agents in various areas, my experience has not always been a good one. After an aborted sale (no fault of the agent) I decided to re let my apartment, Ria-Ann and the rest of the Lettings team at Haart were great, very professional, kept me informed at all times, found a tenant in less than 48 hours and dealt with a number of maintenance issues at reasonable prices. If like me you have had a poor experience with other agents remember there is an alternative.

I have been a landlord for eight years. For the last six years Haart Lettings have managed the property and I have been very impressed with the professional and proactive way in which they have supported both me and my tenants over this period (much better than my experience in the first two years with another agent). There have recently been some issues with a neighbouring property which have resulted in damage to mine and unfortunately affected my tenant. I have been very impressed with the way in which Alicia (the property manager at Haart) has taken the lead in trying to resolve this issue quickly on my behalf, dealing with both the neighbour and insurers effectively and minimising the impact on both me and my tenant. We'll done and thank you Alicia.

A. J.We tried to sell our house a year ago, had over 30 viewings but nothing much came of it, this time round we wanted a different approach. We invited 5 Estate Agents round including Wards, Simon Miller, Yopa etc and James at Haart was the last of the group, and only really added in due to our mortgage advisor recommending them. He arrived very late in the day which suited us but I can't imagine it was ideal for him so we were very grateful for that.
James sat down and took the time to speak with us, without trying to rush out the door (it was getting past 8pm by the time we finished!). He didn't try to blind us with a massive sales pitch or try putting other companies down, he actually spoke very highly of one of the competitors. James explained everything to us and we discussed fees and a plan of action. He was confident enough to offer a much shorter contract which gave us the confidence that if it wasn't working out we could pull out and go elsewhere.
We instructed Haart because everyone we have met through Haart has been lovely and research online puts their photos and advertisements head and shoulders above the rest. We had confidence in the team to get the price we needed.
Two weks after instructing we had our open house and our first lot of viewers through the door. We got an offer on the Monday two days later and agreed a couple of days after that. We had a few interested people and we were sold in under 3 weeks after having only one day of viewings which was a contrast to the previous experience.
We also met Lisa who we have dealt mainly via email who also has been lovely and Matt, who was excellent and went beyond what we would expect, we needed the house we were buying to be dropped by £10k and the sellers were not sure on accepting. Matt got on the phone with the other estate agents and, on our behalf, negotiated with them to do the deal we needed which meant we could accept the offer placed on our house.
Everyone has worked really well together and pulled out the stops to not only give us good advice and help with the sale of ours but going beyond and helping with the purchase through another estate agent as well.
I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend James, Lisa and Matt at Haart again, they may be a touch more expensive than other agents but the support, ease and speed of the process more than makes up for the few hundred pounds. I don't think our house could have been marketed in a better way.

M. P.We would like to commend Ben Swainson in how he dealt with a problem we had regarding our tenant in the property managed by Haart. . He was excellent in the way he explained all the options we had and kept updating us at regular intervals throughout the day until the problem was solved. Basically the problem we had was that we served a two month notice for our tenant to move out on the 16th of May 2019 so that we could move in as we are residing with my brother for the last six months so we needed the property to be empty on 16th of May and we also planned for builders to start work at the property but our tenant was let down by her new estate agent with the dates of moving into her next property so she had nowhere to go but Ben was so good in handling everything and she has now got temporary accommodation for the ten days that she needed before she can move into the new accommodation and also a storage unit for her belongings.
Ben explained everything to us very commendably and also the manner in which he communicated with us on the phone was also very commendable. The problem was solved by us giving her until Sunday so that is three days extra and the property will be empty for us to move in and bring our belongings from storage for which we pay.
Thank you Ben for handling everything to keep both parties happy with the outcome.
