Can’t thank Michael and the team at Flax&co enough for our tenancy there. We stayed in their property as students for 2 years and it honestly made our uni experience. The house was freshly renovated and looked lovely, any issues were solved in good time, great ease of communication and all staff encountered were very polite and helpful. We would have stayed longer if we could, definitely recommend renting with them.

Definitely one of the most student friendly estate agents in Manchester. All issues were sorted within 24 hours, they were easy to communicate with and we never felt taken advantage of. The move out process was so easy with no hidden fees unlike some agencies and we were given back our full deposit at the end! Would definitely recommend!

I've lived in two Flax-managed properties over three years and their team has always been helpful and responsive when needed. Recently when we needed a leak fixing someone was sent out very quickly, the problem was resolved, and they didn't attempt to blame us or extract any money as some estate agents/landlords have done in the past. They also paid our deposit back promptly and without any exorbitant charges (a previous agent charged me £70 because a lightbulb needed replacing). Dealing with estate agents and landlords can be a frustrating and exploitative process, so my expectations are fairly low, but I have no complaints about Flax. Thanks!

Respective, Responsible and Genuine letting agent. I've been a tenant of this letting agent for 5 years. I never had any problems or issues with them AT ALL, and when something went wrong/faulty in the property they were responsive very quickly to my single email. The apartment I rented was not maintained and cleaned beforehand. There were keys jammed inside the doors, heaters were not functioning and the apartment was not in a clean state. Not to mention there was a pungent odour coming from the toilet. Although there were numerous issues with the apartment, the staff from flax and co were quick in attending to our problems. Customer service is helpful even on weekends but the condition of the unit upon moving in is unsatisfactory.

Clear tenancy agreement unlike other places that sneak in hidden fees after moving out - we got our full deposit back at the end of the year. Our only criticism is that we shouldn’t have been rented the property in its condition in the first place - however, they did do their best to take steps to resolve the issues and pushed for the property to be renovated after we highlighted the problems.
