Mark and Lee at Trading Places we’re excellent - would 100% recommend. From their first visit, explaining the process, through to the quality of the listing and photographs, advice, and level of service at viewings we’ve been incredibly pleased. They took a real interest in the property and ensured they knew key selling points before viewings to give us the best chance of selling, it’s obvious they take pride in their work. They have been supportive through the process after the sale, providing updates and support where needed between us and the buyers. We’ve always been able to speak to someone on the phone when needed, and all the people we’ve spoken to at the office have always been helpful to.

I purchased through trading places earlier this year, they did everything I would expect from an estate agent. The property was priced well. They kept me well informed and were very aggressive with all parties to get the sale over the line. After having my house valued by three estate agents I went for Trading Places due to what I felt was the personal touch. Of the three Lee, was the only one to use my name during the valuation and that to me made me feel like I was a person and not a commodity. I feel he fully explained the market and gave a realistic valuation, which ultimately helped sell my home. Lee did some of the viewings and it was his style and technique that sold my house. Both Lee and Mark were exceptional. After a sale fell through in the chain, Mark did his utmost to push the sale on and due to his professionalism and determination we lost only a few weeks on our completion date. Mark has alway returned my calls and emails and kept me updated throughout the process.

Can't recommend them enough - we have already referred 2 friends! Our experience with Trading Places was amazing. We had dealt with from other estage agents, but none were as welcoming or informative as Trading Places. They helped us prepare the house for the photography for the listing, which meant that we got great photos and attracted a lot of attention to the house. Because of this, we accepted an offer just 2 days after listing! Not only that, the offer was well above asking price. After this was accepted, Trading Places remained a constant source of help and expertise throughout the sale process and helped us push through just before the stamp duty deadline.

Trading Places Urmston recently dealt with the sale of my late father's property and I cannot recommend the services of Lee and his team highly enough. We met Lee at the property on the Friday, they took photos on the Sunday and marketed it on on the Monday. The was a viewing on the Tuesday morning and by mid-afternoon an offer had been accepted. The whole process was extremely smooth and the sale completed when grant of probate was processed. I wouldn't hesitate to use the services of Trading Places Urmston again.

I chose Trading Places to sell my house initially because they were more responsive and helpful than the competition. Lee came to the house to carry out a valuation and take the photos, and the house ended up selling within about a month. I was happy with the negotiated price achieved after receiving a couple of lower offers. They handle the viewings efficiently and professionally and I managed to get quite a few viewings booked in, of which I received three offers in the course of the month. So I was very happy with this side of things. After the house was sold subject to contract, there were a few months of the conveyancing process, and Sam dealt with any concerns related to the buyers and the related sale. He was always polite, competent and a pleasure to deal with. There were some issues with delays on the solicitor side but the communication with the buyers via Trading Places was timely and efficient so everything was kept on track. If I had to choose an estate agent in Urmston in the future, I would go for Trading Places above the competition, as the communication was generally excellent, there were no issues in getting hold of people when this was needed, and the fees were competitive. Moving house is always a stressful experience but you can lessen the stress by choosing an agent which is helpful and competent, and I very much found this to be the case here.

We had a number of disappointments with the chain but they were very understanding and supportive throughout the whole process and always were able to update us each week. Sold my property through trading places back in Feb 21. Really responsive, called and a couple of days later they were valuating the house. Gave a few pointers to get the best value which we did and then a couple of weeks after the initial value it was on the market. The photos looked amazing... really drummed up potential buyers and it was sold less than a week achieving asking price which we were delighted with. I must admit it was refreshing to deal with an agent who knows the market so well, there was a lot of historical information and knew what others had sold for with an insider knowledge. The office team were always available and even during lockdown and stamp duty craze!! They seems to know instantly who I was and where my sale was up to. Did an excellent job of liaising between myself and the buyer and even to this day I can still lean on them for support, no problem. The price for the sale was also very appealing; most firms, as the market increases, so does the rate to sell the house. Well this is not the case at trading places. They are local reasonable people and know just because you have lives in Urmston all your life does not mean you want to pay inflated agency fees. At first I was considering using an online DIY agent but I would have only saved a couple of hundred on reflection and would have to do most of the work myself. Finally I was also impressed how they went the extra mile, if i needed a trades person, say a gas engineer or a EPC cert etc. they always had someone available to help, again the price was not inflated and they did not take their cut. Its a really nice local estate agent and I hope they are there for many years.
