It was my first time in renting a house in the UK. The letting agents were also very helpful and responsive for any queries that I had. The process of renting was very straightforward without much bureaucracy. Additionally, they offer a service called "Just move in" - excellent!! They set up all the bills for me, which is something that I had no idea to deal with, if I had too. I'm very happy with Prestige.

Like other people that have written reviews we have had our own fair share of problems with other letting agencies. However this company has proven to be a real gem. They offer a full management service which was perfect for us. They worked closely with us to ensure the house was ready for renting and found tenants quickly. We have had a couple of issues since they moved in, ( boiler making odd noises and problems with the garden fence) both have been resolved without delay. They are also very knowledgeable regarding all the current regulations. I would highly recommend them.

Prestige Estates rented out our fully furnished 3/4 bed home for a year whilst we went abroad travelling. Adam came round to our house for an informal chat to discuss the process and explain in detail our obligations in terms of preparing our property for rental, and their services and how they focus on finding suitable and reliable tenants. The process was very easy, and transparent and their monthly charges were also very reasonable. Whilst we were away, Prestige took care of any issues and emailed us a monthly statement and a report of any minor repairs that were needed. They also sent us reports following property inspections, which put our minds at ease. We had no problems at all. It's so refreshing to deal with such a professional company that actually do what they promise they will do, without any hassle! They were always prompt with answering any queries and provided a very high standard of customer service. It took a few weeks for Prestige to introduce our tenants or actually bring anyone for a viewing of our property, but this is because they screen prospective tenants to ensure they are suitable for your property. They will not rent it to people who they suspect may be less reliable with paying rent on time, - less worry for you and less hassle for them too. Our tenants were angels, they left the property so clean and tidy we even cancelled the final cleaners! We could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Prestige are in all fairness, exceptionally organised and helpful estate agents. Obviously this all comes at a cost and general fees (sign on admin or contract renewal) do exist, but, they are no higher than any other estate agent, probably on the average. I have been a landlord in and around Milton Keynes for more years than I care to remember! I have also sampled many letting agencies in my time some very good and some not so good. I moved one of my rental properties to Prestige in early 2009 after it had sat empty with my current agent for a number of weeks. Prestige were exceptionally professional, a joy to do business with and gave me help and advice to get my property let. I have subsequently moved my portfolio of properties to them one by one. The most important thing about Prestige is that I can trust them, and I know all my properties will receive the same level of service (regardless of rent amounts) and will be well looked after. Another important factor for me is to get my rent paid in a timely manner and without having to chase for payments continuously. Prestige have excelled at this and I never have to worry. It just goes to show even a veteran like me, not all agents are the same, take it from someone who has tried many!

Very efficient letting agent, from a tenants perspective. Emails are answered quickly and requests for maintenance actioned swiftly and not quibbled. Not had any issues that haven't been resolved. There are hefty fees to pay for taking a property and renewal of tennancy etc, but no more than other agents so can't really mark them down for that.

Our first time renting via an agent, and we were relocating to MK. The whole team at Prestige were friendly yet professional, and all put themselves out to meet out tight deadlines. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and were a pleasure to deal with. We had passed over two other detached houses because we didn't think much of the agents. The first managed the property and had commissioned cowboy decorators to paint the entire interior in emulsion, doors and windows included. We felt sorry for the expat landlord. The second agent presented so many obstacles and kept moving the goalposts to such an extent that we lost confidence in her and gave up. Again we felt sorry for the landlord, whose house remained empty. What a relief to find Prestige, who were thoroughly reliable and made our move a good experience.
