Malcolm and the team at Groves managed a residential let for us for several years. The team was very professional, helpful and proactive. They found really good tenants who looked after the house. Communication was always excellent from the team, making sure that we were well informed and that the tenants received a quick response when any issues came up. I’d happily recommend Malcolm and the team in Jesmond.

Mandy and team have been helpful with my remote application, sending a virtual tour when lockdown circumstances made it difficult to view the property in person. The telephone conversations and email communication has been very professional and occurred in a timely manner to facilitate the application and approval process.

Unprofessional. Lackadaisical. Dire. These are words that come to mind when I think of groves. It took them 10 days to repair a leak in the roof, over 6 weeks to landscape the garden (which was promised that it would be done in a week) and it took over 3 months, yes, 3 months to replace our broken dishwasher. I would seriously avoid them if you can, they have caused me more problems than I have had with any other letting agency. -updated a few months later to a 2 star, people have been really nice, and everything else has been sorted quickly thus far. Will see how it progresses in the future towards a greater improvement. Only reason it's still a 2 is because it shouldn't take a bad review before they up their game. Cheers -going to give them three stars now because they were very fair and patient when dealing with returning our damage deposits. They have been much more punctual with getting jobs done aswell.
