Although I ended up buying through private sale, I was so impressed with the agency that 6 years later when I needed to rent this house while living abroad, I went straight to Mansons without question. The management service I received during my three years overseas was outstanding. Having strangers live in your home while you're over 5,000 miles away in a different continent could have been a very stressful experience. i. h.Sept '21; Unfortunately the excellent service as described previously (and i am sure is still evident) has been overshadowed by the very disappointing 'check-out' experience.
There is an awful lot one can say about this, but in short, be aware that when you end your agreement and check out, ensure you look into every single element of the property clean or you will be charged a disproportionate amount to rectify.
Unfortunately, in the pandemic world we were unable to revisit after our cleaner visited and as such there was overlooked dust in the crease of a sofa, dust under a bed and on top of a cupboard, but what a simple 5 min hoover would fix a charge of £100 was made and even then evidence gathered showed they too missed the sofa crease!
I don't doubt the service before and during our rental, but this left a particularly sour taste and when contested through the bond appeal process it was independently judged to have been too much and we got a proportionate refund. A lesson in diligence for future renters.

O. S.I'm renting a flat with Mansons for almost 2 years and I'm quite happy with how it goes so far. Their team (I interacted with Debbie, Jemma, Cyndi and few others) does the job well. The household appliances in the flat I live in sometimes fail, but the agency does a good job in fixing/replacing the faulty equipment. In my view, Mansons is a good letting agency which I recommend to others.

M. C.Of all the estate agents that we dealt with whilst organising our move to Newcastle from Bristol, Mansons was by far the best. Alexi was extremely efficient with regard to organising property viewings and he did a great job of negotiating with our new landlord when we found a property that we liked. The only downside to our experience was the unavailability of electronic document signing software, which meant that we couldn't sign our new contract remotely from Bristol, and a few administrative errors that led to a little extra time being spent on the phone/in the office. Having said that, Mansons were very flexible and accommodating of our needs, and all mistakes were quickly corrected. We would definitely recommend Mansons to prospective renters.

J. C.I am renting a property managed by Mansons for around three months now. When I first moved into my apartment in Jesmond, I was a little anxious due to various issues/conditions I had with the apartment and my previous experiences with some other agents. Understandably, after moving house I was a little stressed and could have done without worrying about various spots of maintenance with my new home etc. After my check-in I was not exactly expecting a quick turnaround, as I had already paid my final balance and signed my contracts. What surrpised me most, was after assessing my queries and issues I had, Mansons put into action what they could do straight after gaining confirmation from the landlord. The landlord did not agree to every query I had, which of course is understandable, but the ones agreed to were dealt with by Mansons in a professional and efficient manner. Contractors were distributed to the property and I was given more than enough notice for the resulting works to be done. I would normally be reluctant allowing a stranger into my new home after previous experiences, however Mansons and the contractors they use made me feel secure and I have no reservations about them gaining access with keys in my absence from now. Overall the manner and conduct in the service I received from lettings right through to property management, although I did not receive everything I wished, was a vast improvement.
