Currently rent a house which is through Crook and Blight. Anthony showed us around the property when we first went to see it. He was brilliant and reassuring and we have been renting the same property for over 3 years. A good team that I have had lots of communication with via phone and email even through the pandemic. They do try their best to ensure their tenants maintenance issues get sorted straight away. Becky bless her chases until the jobs are done. Anthony does the house inspections which is done every 3 months and he is always bubbly and puts you at ease. Would recommend this company especially due to the efforts they have put in to ensure everything is right for us.

Great experience! We have been looking for an investment property for nearly six months now and meeting Anthony at the property was a nice surprise. He answered every question we had and was clearly well prepared (believe us, this is very unusual for most of the agents who feel that the house will sell anyway so they do not need to make any effort!!!). I cannot stress enough how excellent my experience with Crook and Blight has been, specifically Bethan in the rental department, she is a credit to her company and a truly wonderful person. This was the easiest most straight forward rental I have ever had and the lines of communication were always open. Emails were always responded to on the same day, and even when I sent an email in the middle of the night to ask a question I had a reply by 11am without fail the next morning which helped me so much as I am quite anxious. Having such a quick response time was a huge relief, and it really is all thanks to Bethan who was unwavering in her support and worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed and had all the references etc handled so quickly I didn't even have time to worry about them! We never felt at any point the priority was with the seller and they did their utmost to help us complete the sale whilst working through the difficult challenges buying a house can bring. They basically bent over backwards for us. After two years, we had to rent our house. We checked out the local competition for lettings and Crook and Blight won hands down. They are a small family business and they don’t have a never-ending charge list, the prices are by far the most competitive and they will accommodate your needs whilst looking after the renter. Wow, Wow, Wow!!!! What a sales team! I went to view a property today with Crook and Blight and I had Anthony and Dale show me around and explain my options, give me advise as well as as giving me a contact number for a fab mortgage advisor. One thing I will say is if I ever need to sell a house I will be asking for Anthony and Dale to sell it for me. My husband and I were really impressed by the customer service from Crook and Blight when we were ringing them to arrange to view properties. They were always so helpful, polite and friendly. They are quick to answer their phones and they have contacted me when a slot has become available to view a property when it has previously been full. When Ollie showed us around two properties he was very courteous and had a lovely manner. We found ourselves saying to each other that we wished we had chosen Crook and Blight to manage our own house sale. We incorrectly thought that they only took on houses at the higher end of the market. However, when some frustrations with the estate agent we had appointed became too much, we asked when being shown around another property by Kate (again informative, polite and friendly) if they would take on our house. Kate dispelled our falsely informed opinion that Crook and Blight did not take houses across the broader price bracket. I felt an instant wave of relief when I realised I could entrust Crook and Blight to not only sell our house, but also that anyone wanting to buy our house would have the same good level of customer service as we have received. I went to the office where I spoke to both Bethan and Holly to explain our situation. They were so happy to help us and have been really quick at getting the ball rolling to get our house listed. Having bought a house previously where the estate agents slowed things down and caused many problems and errors, and having had a close call of experiencing similar for a second time, I am genuinely thrilled to have found an estate agent where the communication is clear, friendly and professional. Richard Crook acted for the seller when we bought our house. When, years later, we came to sell that house, his firm were the natural choice for us. They were always optimistic of a successful outcome, even when we had doubts. They arranged a far higher number of viewers than we had thought possible, in the process securing a number of offers. Richard and Jane were very supportive during the conveyancing process, making calls up and down the chain when necessary to keep it all moving along to completion and feeding back promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and when, in years to come, we want to sell our new house I'm sure Crook & Blight will be high on our list of potential estate agents.
