Words cannot describe how amazed and happy I am with the service experienced but I’ll try! I went to this branch as I was looking for a company to manage my house. From day 1, Phoebe has been outstanding. She has listened to everything I’ve had to say, offered advice and helped me through every step of the way as I am a complete newcomer to the world of renting, having only been placed in this position due to some unfortunate circumstances. The communication has been excellent via email and when I’ve been in the branch seeing Phoebe in person, I’ve been made to feel very welcomed. I've been struggling to find a flat to move into for a few months, and my current tenancy is with HAART who have been as much use as a chocolate teapot so far, but Peter Alan have made this process so easy! From start to finish the communication from them has been incredible, they answer emails so quickly so there's no waiting, I even spotted a problem in my new flat the day I got the keys so I emailed them, and they sorted the issue out the same day! I went to the flat to show my mum and there were already people there sorting it out (I gave permission for them to be there without me present of course as I'm still living in another flat for the next few weeks). I could tell they were a brilliant branch to go with when I viewed another flat that I unfortunately didn't get and Tim was very helpful in showing us around and giving advice on what to do if I didn't get it, very easy to talk to and very caring of customers. I would also like to thank Cerys who showed me around the flat I'm now moving into, she was alot of help, showed even the questionable tiny cupboard which we could have a laugh about, and she was very fast in her response, it only took a day for her to get back to me to say I was successful with this flat! I would also like to thank Bethan and Phoebe who also helped when Cerys was off, their replied were also fast and full of helpful information. All the staff are easy to talk to, made the process so easy, and we're all so friendly. I can honestly say if I move out of this new flat when the tenancy ends I will 100% move with Peter Alan again. The staff in the Newport branch deserve some kind of bonus for the hard work they put into each client and how well they accommodate to clients lifestyle (I'm a chef so best way to talk is through email as it's difficult to answer a phone call with a knife or frying pan in your hand, which they completely understood and stuck with to make my life easier) So thank you all so much, it's been a pleasure doing business with you and I can't wait to move into my new flat! Side note- they must also pick the landlords they work with carefully as I met my landlord yesterday and he was just as sweet and helpful as the staff in the office. He was there to check on the stuff I mentioned needed sorting the day before and was even doing a few extra bits and bobs to the flat to make it better. The flat came partly furnished aswell, but he was very sweet in saying if there was anything I didn't want he would happily remove it for me, which makes my life so much easier! During January 2022 I had 3 tenants give me notice from 3 of my properties in Newport, within a couple of weeks of each other. I was concerned I would be without tenants in 3 properties for an extended period of time and would be losing a lot of money! In each case I got hold of Peter Alan in Newport, gave them the details of my soon to be vacant property with available from date and contact details of my current tenants. They agreed to handle getting it all resolved and to minimise the vacant periods in each case. They liaised directly with the tenants. They carried out virtual tours of each property and immediately after each virtual tour they came straight back to me with their proposed marketing and with what rent they believed they could achieve. In each case, significantly higher than I was achieving! Each time I agreed with their marketing proposal and their proposed rental value. Each time within a day they had the property marketed on their own web site and on Right Move. Their virtual tours were excellent, they handled everything themselves, keeping me informed at all time and they found suitable tenants within a week in all 3 cases. For all three flats they had the cleaning completed within 2 days of the tenant moving out and had the excellent inventory completed within another day. The total number of days when any of the flats were empty and I wasn’t earning rent, was less than 10 days! I thought I was going to be skint but actually ended up with my rents more than 20% higher, new happy tenants and new 12months contracts in place for all 3 flats. Un-f...ing-believable. Special thanks to Bethan, Dan and to Phoebe who is their expert on doing the virtual tours. Not forgetting Nick of course the boss. I could not recommend Peter Alan in Newport, strongly enough.

I felt like I had to leave a review as Lauren Newberry’s professionalism and knowledge is outstanding. Myself and my partner are first time buyers and yesterday I enquired about the shared ownership apartments that have recently become available in Newport. Lauren explained how shared ownership worked and the process that would be followed if we decided to proceed with something like this then followed it up with an email for us to keep just in case we need any assistance or questions about buying in general, at no point did she push me to make an appointment just a young lady being extremely helpful. As many people know buying your first home can be extremely stressful however after speaking to Lauren myself and partner both feel at ease now knowing what process to expect when buying our first home. We bought our house in 2007 with what was then Roberts & Co, taken over by Peter Alan (but retaining at least some of the staff so we had some continuity over the years). We first used the house ourselves then from 2012 rented it out with Roberts & Co/Peter Alan, and recently sold it through Peter Alan. Good service overall, though some difficulties on the renting side (a few bumps along the way), and in nearly all cases great communication with really helpful staff in the various departments, and the sale through the Cwmbran office was smooth, efficient and swift! Would recommend Peter Alan.

Well where to start the staff at Peter Alan have been exceptional, this is the secound house we have let we had a really bad experience with the first letting agency which we chose over Peter Alan and have regretted it ever since. Mortgage Service - As a first time buyer I initially viewed a house through Peter Alan and later chose to purchase another house offered by another agent. Due to this initial viewing I was put in touch with Anthony Gibbons who is a Mortgage Services Consultant at this branch of Peter Alan. At this point I had already spoken with a number of mortgage consultants within Newport so I thought this was going to be another phone call which would lead to nowhere, how wrong was I! Anthony was extremely friendly and knowledgable on the phone, and I instantly noticed that there was no pressure to use his service, he just genuinely wanted to help and had good knowledge of the local area. As a result of this phone call I chose to meet with Anthony to see what he can offer me. After this meeting I chose to use Anthony to assist me with obtaining a mortgage and as a result of this decision the whole buying process has been totally seamless. Anthony was able to access a wide range of competitive mortgage products and guided me through the whole process. Within a week of applying I had a fantastic mortgage offer which I really wasn't expecting to get due to my current expenditure. They say that buying your first house is one of the most stressful situations that you will ever be faced with, but I can truly say due to Anthony's assistance, I have not had to worry about a thing. Anthony is persistent in keeping track of the progress of the purchase, keeping in contact with all parties involved and really has gone above and beyond with the whole buying process, even when he didn't have to. What's even better is that I have a lifetime membership with Peter Alan so will be able to use Anthony when re-mortgaging, for an extremely low fee! Definitely a 5 star service.
