Amber was so kind, empathetical and very professional from the first moment I walked into the office. Jess Smith went above and beyond! My first experience with Haart estate agents was the house viewing. The day of the viewing, I had a flat tyre and had to get a lift across town in heavy traffic - needless to say that I was very late! However, Derran Dooley waited for me, showed me the property & answered all of my questions. He was very fast and responsive the next day via email and let us know as soon as our offer was accepted. (Unfortunately, I can’t say much for the service we received whilst he was on holiday. The sales memo took its time to get to our solicitors & our emails were left unanswered). We signed our contracts in October and unfortunately had to wait quite some time for the tenants to vacate the property. This was quite frustrating as there was no given move out date for them. Fast forward then to our agreed completion date, our vendor’s solicitors (owned by the Simplify group) had a security incident lasting 10+ days, meaning that we were in the dark with no idea as to whether our purchase was likely to go through. However, as soon as Jess Smith was on the case, everything started looking up! Jess updated us daily on the situation, and liaised well between us and the vendor to lessen our collective stresses. We were also lucky enough to have a very kind and understanding vendor during this period of time. On the day that our mortgage monies were due to be returned, Jess was able to get through to the vendors solicitors amidst their incident to explain our situation and push for an exchange and completion on the same day! So we never felt like we were being cheated just for a quick sale and to our delight, we actually achieved the sale price we knew the house was worth.
