Jackson Stops was the fourth estate agent we contacted about the sale of our 4 bedroom detached house. When my mother died in early 2018 I had to sell her beautiful rose covered cottage just outside Northampton. As the sole executor to my mother’s estate, I had to be able to demonstrate (to the beneficiaries) that I had achieved the best price for the property in the prevailing market and this Jackson Stops achieved on my behalf. The Jackson Stops team in Northampton, led by Richard Jones, were chosen from a short list of 4 agents and were selected for their professionalism and empathy. They were a fantastic group of people to work with. The sale of the cottage took some time to complete, partially because of a soft market, but perhaps more so because my elderly mother and stepfather had deferred a number of maintenance issues that required attention before the property could be sold. The cottage is Grade II listed and the requirements for listed buildings and the oversight by the local planning officers also made things complex. Jackson Stops were fantastic throughout the whole process. Always able to give clear guidance and advice on actions to be taken and what to do and when to do it. For anyone seeking to sell a character property near Northampton, I cannot recommend Richard Jones and the Jackson Stops team more highly. A great service and a great outcome.
