Overall experience is okay. The time given to read the contract was too short (less then an hour). I had to sign it otherwise I had to miss the property. I do not know why they take the bank card and enter the payment details by themselves as to me it is a security risk giving your bank card to an agent. Their services after signing the contract were not very supportive. Called them several times to know about the existing electricity, gas, Internet, water suppliers but they did not provide correct information. The garden of the property is not maintain at all and I was told that I have to put grass grower and maintain it in future. Meter readings were also not shown to me despite I requested multiple times. It was sent to me via email. I did not have any option left except to accept it. Later on I found that there are some unpaid amounts.

It is written in the tenancy agreement but if you don't take action the supplier will be changed. This is a big bugbear for me.

From the minute David put our property on the market and introduced us to Vicki in the office (Taverham branch at the time), we knew we had made the right decision! Abbots sold my last home for us and we bought this bungalow from them and can honestly say the service we received was amazing. We were let down by a local estate agent who told us we had sold our house to a cash buyer, only to find out they didn't act with due care and diligence, the cash buyer hadn't even sold.
