We sold a property and bought through Claxton Bird this year. The service was excellent throughout the whole process from Darren valuing our property to Kim finding a buyer, to James identifying a perfect house for our next move. We also met Mark at a viewing and can say the whole team always knew who we were and where we were at with the sale and purchase, making it feel like a personal service. A really friendly team who made a potentially stressful time a lot less so. We would recommended them to friends and family unreservedly.

Earlier this month, we completed the sale of our buy-to-let property in Cringleford. After meeting with three local agencies, we appointed Claxton Bird in February and following the termination of the tenancy, some cleaning and repair work, the house was advertised for sale in March. Following an open day, seven viewings and two offers, we negotiated a revised offer, at slightly in excess of the offer price, just four days after the first viewing! As we live in the West of England and despite a competitive agency commission rate, Claxton Bird carried out various property management tasks at no extra cost. Overall, they were a pleasure to deal with, excellent communicators and very efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending their very competitive services.

They were easy to work with, and responsive, which is incredibly reassuring when you're going through the motions of buying a property. The process of buying/selling your home can be stressful and we certainly had some ups and downs along the way. There are enough frustrations with the process of moving, but having people like this on your side makes all the difference. James was always there, in some cases just to listen to my anguish. Small things that really made a difference, such as getting meter readings for our house in Norwich, we live in the Cotswolds so a 5 hour drive for us. What more could you hope for? Some of the things they do particularly well: they take up-front information to ensure an accurate description; their photos are particularly good; their description included things not obvious from pictures which can be helpful to buyers out of the area (and which probably makes the difference between securing viewings and not), they market it at a good, fair price using their market knowledge. They are flexible and carry out viewings at times to suit potential purchasers. They got a full house of viewings for my home (something I am sure would not have happened without their knowledge of the area and attention to detail in all areas).
