The best place I have rented in Nottingham. The landlord is very attentive and comes round the same day to fix any issues we have. Everything in the house is basically brand new and matches. We have a smart TV and the house came with not only a washing machine, but a dryer AND dishwasher! Everything was perfect in the house right down to the little succulent plants and framed pictures on the wall. Would happily live here for the rest of my life 😍😍. Cannot be happier!

Our experience was primarily with Eniko who was fabulous. But honestly the experience as a whole was fantastic with comfort Lettings. I took a month off work to find a new place to live and jumped through hoops with other estate agents and landlords. Yet comfort Lettings took approximately 1 week form viewing to getting the keys. As personally one of the best student letting's agentcys in nottingham i feel they are responsive and look out for you as well as there own interests. Having been with other agents in nottingham comfort are far more responsevie and work as a team in the office far better leading to better overall costomer service. Small things like giving a gas safety certificate 6 months before needing it (without being asked), makes the whole renting experience easier. As a student I hear about other people's agents and i have not heard anything bad about comfort compared to hearing bad things about at least 4 other agents.

Myself and my partner had been looking for a property for almost 4 months with little to no effort or empathy from other letting agents, until we met Jess at a house viewing. She was so informative, chatty and generally a joy to be around which was a breath of fresh air after months of meeting and dealing with other letting agents. We applied to the property but was unfortunately rejected, usually, that's game over and we don't hear anything back from the agent but Jess was quick to respond with another house for us. We've now managed to secure the property before it went on the market! Got to keep at 4 stars until those last few things are fixed 😉 but looking positive Ropewalk Court flats. The flat is beautiful, in a safe area, and the landlord is friendly. They do make a habit of tackling any issues with the apartment quickly, we've had an issue with the washing machine and the agency is being consistent in handling the repair scheduling. Initially when they need a positive review they'll be responsive in any mundane questions, especially in the beginning, once some time has passed they stopped giving notice when they'll come around for viewings, if they do give notice it is a day in advance but barely and sometimes its after that I'll receive an email about a viewing that already happened. Both the Landlord and letting agency aren't in the best channel of communication so there's some inconsistencies. For instance, in the very beginning the Landlord would come around to do some fixes around the flat and the letting agency gave no warning. Of course it may be an issue of the Landlord not letting me know ahead of time but when I tried to ask if Comfort would let me ask the landlord directly for a few things, they made it very clear that they were the only point of contact and that I would not be allowed or given access to reaching the landlord personally. One would think, with that logic, it is the agencies responsibility to inform me of anything or anyone that may enter the flat, especially during COVID. I can't remember the name of the girl who first showed me the apartment but even she was so sweet and funny, very accommodating/helpful. Ultimately, this is a good company but not without some minor flaws that could be improved to making the renting experience more beneficial.

No question was treated with contempt and either Tom or Josh Bounds were readily available to help with any questions. We were really pleased with the survey Comfort completed and they managed to let the property within a week of it being added to their portfolio. Since the property was let, I have had contact with Tom and Josh to ensure that all is running smoothly with the let and that we are happy. As a student I find comfort lettings to be reliable and communicative - both things that other student lettings agencies seem incapable of for some reason. Comfort lettings' calibre of property is generally higher than those of its competitors, whilst also contesting on price. I have only minor criticisms of the agency in that call out charges (e.g. for lost keys, things breaking, etc) are too high in my opinion, however where issues do arise resolutions are found swiftly, and this doesn't need to be an issue if you treat your property with respect. Overall probably the best lettings agency in Nottingham for their student lettings arm. You pay a premium for the service/properties, but its better value for money than the likes of 'Student Cribs' if you're looking on the more expensive end of student housing.

Our rental situation was somewhat atypical for this agent as the property is in the Cambridge area due to a personal connection between the agents and landlords. Nevertheless, the service provided was very good overall. The house was presented very nicely; it was a lovely property to begin with, with a nicely kept garden, but upon lease it was immaculately clean (unfurnished) and had all the necessary amenities (e.g. white goods etc). All bills transitioned smoothly, at beginning and end, and the periodic inspections by the agents and utilities (e.g. gas inspection) were arranged on schedule and with consideration of our commitments. Importantly the agents and landlords responded very promptly to the few 'issues' that arose. There was one plumbing issue that took a while to sort out but this had more to do with an ineffectual local plumber than the agents. At the close of the tenancy, the agents were very charming and generously worked with us to find a mutually convenient arrangement, and we were delighted to have the full deposit returned. All in all, we had a very good experience with this agent and landlord, they were very easy to communicate with and we had no difficult situations. I would highly recommend this agent.
