If you wish to have an agency who will care for your property as you would do yourself, then this is the one to choose. They have managed my rental property for almost 10 years, and have always provided an efficient and proactive service. Any issues have been dealt with in a calm and timely manner and their advice, based on their considerable experience or from their own legal experts, has been very helpful over the years. I have always been impressed by their knowledge of the properties that they manage, and their rapport with both tenants and landlords. I recommend them without reservation!

Landlord from 2006 to 2020. I can highly recommend Granger and Oaks. Initially, I was to rent my Nottinghamshire property out for a year whilst I moved north. I’d engaged a number of property management companies and wasn’t too impressed, but Jonathan’s initial engagement was open, frank and positive so I signed up. That one year became fourteen - and over those years and a small number of tenant changes, Jonathan and his team consistently delivered a high quality property management service that I came to rely upon. Points worth highlighting: - ▪ Regular and clear communication; ▪ efficient arrangement of additional services such as plumbers etc; ▪ good tenant screening/onboarding; ▪ Provided helpful advice on matters beyond their remit. Have there been problems over the years? Yes there have - but the G&O team always provided effective support to resolve any issues. Excellent - We cannot fault the service they have provided us. This review is for both Landlord services as well as Estate Agents. Granger and Oaks have provided us with an excellent service at all times. For 10 years Granger and Oaks acted as letting agents for our house when needed to let it due to job relocation to a different part of the UK. In that time we did not need to visit the property once. Granger and Oaks inspected the property regularly, collected payments regularly and dealt with any concerns quickly and professionally. When maintenance was required they used reputable people and obtained reasonable quotes. They offered advice and guidance when we requested it and helped ensure we became reputable and reliable land lords. They made that could have been a complicated situation very straight forward. When we eventually decided to sell the property, using Granger and Oaks as Estate Agents, they again showed the uttermost professionalism. They managed the property being redecorated for us, marketed the property and sold the property. They generated 23 viewings in just two weeks leading to us receiving multiple offers on the property. Ultimately we selected a buyer which completed in just 5 weeks from us accepting the offer at the asking price. They made the whole process simple, always agreed fees up front with us and were at all times honest. As we no longer live in the East Midlands I doubt we will have reason to use them again, however we would not hesitate to do so, or to recommend them to anyone as either Letting Agents or Estate Agents.

I appointed Granger Oak as my Letting Agents for my property some 10 Years ago. Apart from dealing with Jonathan the rest of the team have been very hands on and are quick to sort any issues out promptly. Starting from the early days the team who looked after me were Jennie Marshal ,Lauren and a few others in the team who were very professional in their approach. They arranged all the tenancy change over and I never needed to meet the tenants as they were all checked out by G&O. In fact in the 10 years I don’t think I met any of the tenants as wll was handled by G&O team. In most recent time Bali,Diane,and Laura looked after my affairs to the property and must say I got 5 star service. All I can say is if you are a landlord and looking to appoint a letting agent to look after your property then look no further as I have had other Letting Agents before (mention no names) with national offices who cannot touch the service provided by G&O As I have decided to come out of Rentals and the strict Landlord Licence I wanted a stress free life and enjoy my time with my wife. As a seller, the staff at Granger and Oaks were a delight to deal with. I can't fault Jonathan and the team for their help with selling our property. Although the initial assessment of where we potentially stood in the market was a bit off the mark, it was understandably difficult to predict the downturn in the housing market, and a readjustment to account for this was handled excellently. I'm sure that the larger estate agents would have done a good job had we gone with them, but I got the impression that G&O went the extra mile for us, which we probably wouldn't have got from these 'bigger fish'! We did feel that we needed to edit the original write up about the flat. This was done in a spirit of cooperation and there was no difficulty in agreeing a final description. . Also the photographs were not quite as professional as we would have expected but this was probably due to the fact that there were tenants in the flat at the time. However, the flat was quickly sold at a price higher than we were expecting. Throughout the sale process which was a bit slow and tortuous at times G&O were totally professional. We were kept informed during the sale and they were always read to answer our questions and acted as go between the two solicitors when things were slowing down or stalling. If our contact was busy she would always ring back as promised. We felt that they were willing to go the extra mile on our behalf. GO Property really worked hard for their fee when they sold our house! We were in a hurry to sell our property, and from the beginning they were honest and realistic about how much we could expect to get for our property. They had several viewings booked for our property within days of putting our house on the market, which resulted in us accepting an offer on our property within a week of putting it on the market. The sale was not an easy one, but they worked hard throughout to make sure that the sale went as smoothly as possible. The sale became so problematic at one point that GO Property were calling with daily updates as they chased up the buyer and their solicitors, but I didn't have to get involved at all as they did all of the work for me. The sale went through in the end without any input from me. GO Property also use an excellent set of contractors who repaired and redecorated our house prior to sale. Their contractors are very reasonably priced (especially given the quality of the work), and GO Property managed all of the repairs and redecorations so that we never had to get involved. They also inspected all of the work after it was completed to make sure that it was up to their standards.

As a landlord of an apartment in the Hicking building for 10 years I cannot speak highly enough of the management services provided by G&O for the whole of that period. The tenant vetting process resulted in the selection of good tenants thought the term. The last tenant, who I believe has made a comment here, didn't seem to understand the contractual terms and certainly shouldn't have made the unjustified remarks. There was a distinct lack of appreciation of the rental value of the property which over the term of the rental resulted in the tenant making considerable savings compared with market rates. And when it came time to sell the property G&O managed the process quickly and professionally keeping me informed of progress and efficiently liaising with buyer and solicitor. Just to say how pleased we were with everything that you have done for us over the years in regards to our property in Forest Fields Your companies professionalism in respect to communication and positive action for different scenarios was always positively refreshing in an industry that at times - (we acknowledge) - can be challenging to say the least. We owned the above property for 14 years and you have managed the property for us for the majority of that time. There were more lucrative times and there were less lucrative times and tenants are always going to be a mixed bag. I'm not in the habit of writing online reviews, nor in giving things 5 stars but where I encounter great customer service I make the effort these days (must be my age) to recognise it. I was involved in the sale/purchase of a property which turned into a slow, torturous affair but from start to finish Phil Wardle from GO was honest, open, professional, actively chasing the other parties to bring the matter to conclusion. When the usual grumbling is that estate agents don't really do anything (other stick a photo on the web-site) to earn their fee I can happily report that Phil more than earnt his fee in this matter.
