Selling your house and buying another can be super tough alongside working and family life and the trials and tribulations that brings on its own. We used Jon after he was recommended by a friend and it was the best decision we could have made. He was clear and made things easy to understand. He made a ton of assurances and honestly upheld every one of them. He was incredibly accessible and flexible and did what he said he would do. Having 1 point of contact meant everything went through him and not a 'team' he was committed and did not let us down. The world of buying and selling is at times murky and confusing but Jon was able to cut through the unnecessary and keep things on track. We would without a doubt use Jon again and would trust him with any of my friends or family.

If you’re selling your house then there is only one man for the job and that’s Jon Archer. Jon is not your typical estate agent as he actually cares. He knows the industry inside and out and works pretty much 24/7. He is in constant communication with you and works tirelessly throughout the entire process from start to finish to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. He helped us with every aspect of the sale and not only that, he was able to give help and advice throughout our purchase too. Our chain became a nightmare with sales falling through at the bottom of the chain and the initial property we were buying was taken off the market by the owners only a couple of weeks before completion. Jon was there throughout offering his complete support and we definitely wouldn't of got through the sale and our eventual purchase without him. The rest of the estate agents in the chain who I won’t mention we’re shocking, especially in there ability to communicate not only with us but with there own clients too. If it wasn’t for Jon basically single handedly organising the whole chain I have no doubt everything would have collapsed. On top of that the solicitors he recommended we’re also incredible and Karen who was allocated to our case was absolutely first class. My partner and I would personally like to thank Jon for everything he did for us and cannot recommend him enough. Absolutely outstanding.

Engaging Jon Archer as your estate agent is a remarkable experience. A traditional High Street estate agent branch handles hundreds of sales at a time. Nobody in their office can stay on top of that many cases. Each time you ring you speak to a different person, who has to look up your details on their computer. When they've dealt with your call, your case is cleared from their screens - and from their memory - as they move on to the next call. It is rare for an individual to "own" your case, and even if they do, they probably own dozens more. You never really get focused attention. Working with Jon is different. Big time different. For a start, you can forget all this 9-5.30 stuff. Jon seems to work all the hours he's awake. Secondly, he restricts himself to a maximum of twelve cases at a time. This means he is completely up to date and on top of your case, whenever you contact him. Imagine that! When you call, you always speak to the same person. That person knows you personally, he knows your house (he measured it, he valued it), he knows where you are in the process and what should be happening next. There's another thing: Jon has been in the business a long time. He knows the ropes; he knows the tricks people get up to; and he knows exactly how to navigate your way through your house sale. Engaging Jon Archer as my estate agent was a great decision - I had five offers on the first day of viewing, and two more came in over the next few days. Jon gave great advice on which offer to choose - it isn't always the highest, because you want a buyer you can rely on. In fact he gave great advice throughout the process. My house sale went smoothly and in record time. Forget about the high street estate agents - engaging Jon Archer moves the game to a whole different level.

So so pleased with this service. Right from the start I have received continuous support and help. We met Jon when viewing a property, and quickly signed him up to sell our home. After speaking with various other estate agents, including one offering bargain value, we knew that Jon was the right match for us. After taking a good look at the house and having clearly done his research on the street and the area in advance (unlike another agent from a popular agency we met), he valued our house, suggested we offer it at a certain amount in order to achieve the value, and gave us clear reasoning behind how he got to this. Jon was clear that we could ask for above/below this but outlined the risks in doing so. We decided to take his advice and we’re glad we did. Our house went on the market shortly after, and had 7 viewings booked by that evening for the following day. 4 days later our house was sold!! We were also lucky enough to purchase our new house through Jon, and we’re very sure we wouldn’t have progressed as quickly through the process without him there every step of the way. He not only recommended excellent conveyancers, he then liaised with them frequently to make sure things were progressing as they should, or giving a nudge when they were not. Jon then communicated every step with us - when there was a update, or when he was trying to get us one. For such a long drawn out process, this was really important to us to see that things were moving. Unlike other agencies who have different agents to those showing your house, to the office staff - we only dealt with Jon which made things so much simpler. Jon was incredibly knowledgable, and clearly dedicated and passionate about his job. He gave us his honest opinion and advice, and helped us to answer many many of our daft questions, at all hours of the day (sorry Jon). He even went so far as to help us unpack our moving lorry! From the point of offers being accepted (same day for both houses!) to the date we moved in, it was just over 7 weeks. What is often a nightmare experience, was in fact an absolute breeze, mostly due to the support Jon offered us throughout. I would recommend Jon to anyone.
