We've been renting a house for nearly 7 years with John D Wood. Our property manager, Carol, has always been very responsive, helpful and efficient with everything from the most minor issue to more complex problems. Most recently Carol managed the process of sorting two issues with windows in the property. Neither were easy problems to solve, especially given contractors are currently in short supply, but Carol was persistent and we're delighted that the work is now completed. As tenants we don’t get to choose our managing agent but we're very happy it's John D Wood.

Another estate agent very badly messed up the launch of our house onto the market, but John D Wood managed to recover the situation and secure two good offers (in a slightly sticky market) within a couple of months. Due mainly to our buyers' solicitor, the sale then progressed slowly and with difficulty, requiring much patience, perseverance and problem-solving by the whole team at JDW and Annie in particular. As it turned out, more lateral thinking and excellent deal-making by Annie meant that we ended up buying (off-market) through JDW as well.
