Connells st Budeaux are amazing. All the staff are always helpful but special praise needs to go to Emma who worked tirelessly to get my sale completed. After many problems with my conveyancers and many hours work on her part we finally completed. Emma even drove me to the bank as we were exchanging and completing the same day. Can't thank her enough she went above and beyond. Exceptional service.

I decided to sell my house with Connells (St Budeaux Office) following positive feedback from a family member who had previously used Connells. Having gone through the sale process, with Liz and the team, I cannot speak highly enough of the team and their advice and professionalism throughout the whole process and couldn't find fault! The team are incredibly efficient and responsive and made what can potentially be a very difficult process run so smoothly. I received good and prompt updates on viewings and got the price I wanted when the property sold. My wife and I had our wedding cancelled and rearranged due to COVID and were going through a very stressful period with that and selling our house at the same time, so to have such helpful and knowledgeable people like Liz, Emma and Jodie on our side was great for us! Initially I was only curious about how much our house may be worth so asked Liz to come and do a valuation. Then we agreed to put it on the market for a few weeks just to see if we'd get any interest. I Was stunned at the amount of viewings Liz and her team arranged! At least one a day most days, some days we'd have 2 or 3 people viewing. We sold within a couple of weeks after turning down the first 3 offers. Jodie was really great with keeping us fully up to date with everyone's feedback and I had no worries about about her showing people around whilst also making sure our dogs were kept safe. Professionally marketed Our property sold in 3 weeks, well done and thank you all!! Whist the sale offer was quick the process for exchange and completion was fraught with issues on both sides. Keeping clients informed is key to relieving stress, and perhaps expectations could have been managed better or maybe our expectation of the role was not realistic. the staff are really lovely, the only one fault i can say is they encouraged me to use premier property solicitors to buy my house telling me the maximum amount to pay them would be 1100 pounds and 350 pounds of that would need to be paid upfront for searches but not to worry it comes off the total, so i agreed mainly because they obviously have been using them and they could be trusted, it worked out that i was billed over 1600 in the end. i did ask them to inquire a few times about this but nothing was ever really resolved and was told its normal policy im having to pay for 'other' bits n bobs. so shop around first before you use their solicitors.
