I can thoroughly recommend haart as letting agents. Sarah at our local office gives first class service. She is professional in her approach and deals with everything promptly and efficiently. Both Sarah and Henrietta have recently been incredibly helpful to me at the conclusion of a tenancy. The tenant concerned was difficult from the start. Immediately upon occupying my newly refurbished house he alleged that the central heating boiler was not working and tried to avoid paying rent. His allegation was refuted by a professional boiler engineer who had visited the house and the engineer gave a sworn statement on my behalf. This was followed up by complaints regarding the bathroom - he requested different shower and tap fittings. When he left after only 21 months there was considerable damage - every wall was marked, holes had been hammered in the walls to hang pictures (no permission had been given by me for this), the kitchen worksurfaces had been marked so badly that they had to be replaced and the wooden floor had been damaged by a leak. In addition the front and back gardens were left in an appalling condition - to the extent that neighbours complained to me personally. The tenant refused to give any recompense in respect of all this after moving out and the matter has had to go to arbitration. It has subsequently come to light that after moving in he did not register at all with South West Water and they have told me that they have handed the matter to their litigation department to recover a considerable amount. Through all this I have been so grateful to Sarah and Henrietta for their support - they are amazing!!

Haarts were excellent in selling my property. I would like to thank particularly Alannah Richards and Jordan Greenway who provided an outstanding level of service. I had used another plymouth-based agent earlier this year to sell my property and was generally underwhelmed by the lack of attention paid to wanting to the sell my property, and only received one (joke) offer in a three month period. I moved over to Haarts and immediately felt like a valued customer. They provided all the information I could possibly want and were regularly feeding me messages on levels of interest and what they were doing to get my property sold. Within three months I had received at least half a dozen reasonable offers. Alannah and Jordan clearly worked hard to get me the best offer possible and I am delighted to say that I completed the sale in December. I cannot recommend Haarts enough for the level of service they provide which is above and beyond anyone else I looked at in Plymouth. Haarts may seem a tad on the expensive side but I can honestly say that you get what you pay for and they are well worth the money if you want your property sold at a price you can be happy with.

A little rocky to start off with as i didn't feel haart were doing a good job for me as a seller. but after speaking with the manager and raising some concerns they were a lot better. All the staff are nice and helpful. We went with the financial advisor because we were not clued up with finances. He was good,infomative and friendly. And the solicitors we used via him (for convenience) were also good, friendly and helpful. But i think the whole process was made stressful by the people we were buying from. And haart, david and convey law did a brilliant job putting up with it all and keeping me up to date with everything. The one draw back is that it was all very expensive. I found haart to be expensive, the financial advisor expensive and the solicitors via the financial advisor expensive (although i did get a bit of a price drop to try and match a local solicitors but were still a fraction more expensive).
