Our situation was a cash buyer of a vacant possession property. It was a relatively straightforward transaction and as intermediaries Lang Town & Country were very good. I would single out Becky as being particularly helpful in pushing both solicitors to hit an important deadline and keeping us posted. I know it's easy to knock estate agents for the rates they charge but be thankful you're not selling a property in France where the minimum rate is 4%. Garreth and his team have just sold our flat on the waterfront and it has been a pleasure to deal with all of them. Garreth gave us a realistic valuation of which they achieved 90%, compared to completely unrealistic valuations from other agents which would have led to us having to make several reductions. They conducted all the viewings which was a great help to us and when we got an offer, they monitored and chased progress, communicating with us right up to completion.
