This was my first time renting a property by myself after finishing university. It was really scary and stressful trying to find the right place in the right area both for comfort and safety reasons. I felt like I was walking into a minefield with no direction and then Easthams came along. I mainly dealt with a lovely agent called Mike who straight away listened to what I wanted, price range and location with regards to commuting to work etc. He arranged multiple visits at the drop of a hat and all the rest of the team were so helpful. They were all great houses just not 100% right for me and as time was going on I started to feel lost and stressed that I was never going to find the right one. Then I received a phone call from one of the team at Easthams to get more info from me, as they felt some of the options I chose to look at weren’t neccessarily a great place for a single young woman to live in and were maybe a bit random. They had recognised me drowning in the housing market and were so honest with me and straight away made me feel at ease and supported with the whole situation. Within 2 days they had found me the perfect place. I’m all moved in now and every step of the documentation stage was made so easy by Easthams, they made sure everything got done on time and were always around for advice or to answer any questions I had. So all I had to worry about was packing up my truck load of stuff :). I couldn’t be more happy right now and incredibly greatfull to the team at Easthams for all that they did to help me through such a crazy time.

Trust Matt’s recommendation on which tenants to pick; he recommended a lovely family who are excellent tenants. Easthams actually do perform the four-monthly inspections (as well as a very though moving in inspection) and email them through to you promptly. Edit: The following day I was contacted (first thing) by a member of their team who took the time to explain to me what and why it had gone wrong, being incredibly sincere and helpful. Disappointing: Had to take time out of work for the viewing and, (whilst waiting a while outside the property) called to make sure I had the right details. Apparently the agent had failed to let me know they had accepted another offer and weren’t coming. The office then attempted to tell me they had tried to call earlier in the day to let me know, (when what they had actually done was call and ask me to make sure I would be on time). It was also a little embarrassing when, (whilst I was waiting for a ride) the landlord showed up asking if I was the new tenant as they were about to show them round. Though the landlord seemed really nice and property looked beautiful, it is a shame the office failed to communicate with me; this was my first time hoping to rent through E&co - they had been recommended for being professional and helpful.
