My dealings with Chaneys over the years have been professional and in general quite good. I appreciate that rental properties can throw up a number challenges from time and time that many other landlords/tennants complain about however it's nothing that cool heads cannot resolve. Being open and honest with Chaneys will more likely than not yield a good result in the end as long as you're honest and open to work with them. (Please don't be distracted by these other reviews that more emotive than rational).

I have been renting a property with Chaneys being the letting agents for 2 years. My experience with this company (primarily with Bayleigh and Dan) has been extremely positive through-out. They have been very helpful from the start and any issue that my family brought up was promptly, efficiently and effectivey resolved to our complete satisfaction. With my tenancy coming to an end, Chaneys team has been extremely co-operative and flexible in arranging a moving date as my new build was slightly delayed. I've read the other feedback here but I can't thank Chaneys enough for the 2 years of good service I received. I wish Bayleigh, Dan and the team all the best always. Thank you !!

They were very fast, efficient and professional with all checking and procedures and I got my rental sorted out in less than a week from the time I saw the add. Completely different with the experience I had simultaneous reservation in the same building with other letting agency in reading that in 4 weeks did not bother to give me receipts or let me know whether my rental was going ahead and let me know plan accordingly but happily took my money for the reservation.

We also visited the office in order to sign more documents, we were made to feel very welcome and can’t thank the team enough for making what would normally be an extremely stressful time that much easier.

Chaney's has been fantastic to work with. I must say I was very sceptical about working with an agent and was going to do everything myself as I haven't had the best of experience with agents so far. However, Chaney's have completely surprised me with their above and beyond service. The agents that we worked with were Bayleigh and her supporting manager, Dhanvir. Their communication and service has been second to none. Our place is in Langley and Chaneys is based in Reading but that made no difference to a 5 star service. They have definitely won my business for the future and I have been recommending them to friends already.

They guided and advised me throughout the process, paying careful attention to the fact I am new to this role. They marketed the property, and kept me up to date throughout. Dhanvir Singh managed the redecoration and furnishing of our penthouse apartment in central Reading, prior to marketing for re-letting. I am delighted with the level of service provided: Dan is pro-active (he provided updates regularly, without being asked and pressed gently for instructions from me when an item remained outstanding), professional and a pleasure to deal with. This was especially important as overseas landlords; as such we were relying on Dan to be our "eyes" in the process. I would be pleased to recommend him.

I am a tenant. I had an emergency on Christmas Day, the entire house had an electricity cut-off. No lights, no heating, no kitchen. Obviously no wifi and very few phone battery. I called Danvir at 8pm. He reassured me and he did his best to fix the problem, even if we both knew how difficult could have been to find a engineer during bank holiday and that late. He kept me updated and he manage to send someone early morning of the 26th. We had to spend the night with an extra blanket but considering the particular day we had the emergency we can only say thanks Dan for being so quick and attentive.
