I was a tenant at one of the flats managed by Haslams for the past two and half years, and I have mostly great experience dealing with them. Naturally, during Covid the response times for problem resolution has increased, but this is mostly due to the fact that engineers aren't as readily available. My manager, Sharon, was really kind, prompt, hard-working and went above and beyond to help us, for example liaising with the building heating management to bring our costs down. So I would therefore recommend them, but at the same time advise them to try to resolve the long lead times for any non-urgent problem resolution.

First impressions, one of the better experiences with Estate Agents I’ve had. On first contact over the phone, Arthur House was quick to send me information via email, something I find lacking with several agents working remotely. This struck me as good attention to the customer. He then continued to communicate with me via email or telephone; promptly keeping me well informed. He does go the extra mile by talking slowly on the phone and showing expression in his emails, which gives it a more personalised experience during our interactions. He has however set the standard very high and I equally expect highly of them, which so far they have shown high quality in helping new tenants by providing information packets using a very well functioning online method. The rest of the team have also been helpful when answering the phone and being direct with me, which is much appreciated. I will recommend to friends and family. UPDATE: Checking-in to the new flat was a very swift process, which they have managed to somehow minimise the stress. While that does mean that there are more people involved (3rd party company that does inspection and the contract/references management portal), a member of staff is there to help you along the way. For me, it was Joanne Maxwell, who did a fantastic job guiding me through. I am not changing my rating (5-stars) because they have followed through with great service.

Would like to share my experience, I had with Haslam. Well, in a nutshell Haslam is the best agency and I highly recommend people to go for their services. The best part is the competent staff of Haslams. I have rented a property from Haslam in 2020 and since then its been an excellent journey. Today I would like to write about Jodie, who is absolutely Brilliant. We had some issues around repairs and its been ongoing since December ( No fault of Haslam), we were lazy for not reporting the issue in time. Jodie took the time and personally chased the landlord and repair folks. She has been excellent in communicating the updates and checking if everything is going as per the discussion. She dealt with the issue proactively and got this sorted. I really appreciate her professionalism and approach towards customer’s issue and would rate her 10/10. The bank transaction had been arranged over a week, but Goodlord advised they don't received the payment. I called Haslams for help again, they give me a phone number to call Goodlord directly. They received the payment finally but keep the starting date as same. They charge 1 week rent that I can't live in and said they can't help. It would be not suitable for people who just move in UK and need a new home urgently. hope it can help

I would like to see an annual statement to simplify tax reporting, but the monthly information is clear and concise, so it is easy to aggregate. You might find cheaper representation, but you will struggle to do better for peace of mind and value for money.

We have today just completed on our house sale with Haslams and I cannot have imagined a better experience. We had considered going with an internet based company and I am so glad we didn't. I have heard many stories of house sales being stressful and full of problems with sellers spending hours chasing solicitors etc etc. I am pleased to say for us this was far from the case. The sale went through in record time and Simon, the negotiator was 'on the ball' from the start to the finish. I hadn't realised how important the estate agent is to the process, he was the link between the us, the buyer and both sets of solicitors. Every step of the way he answered questions from all parties almost by return. He negotiated us the best price for us and was instrumental in getting the sale through in a record time. We had no need to talk to our solicitors apart from to answer questions. It was certainly worth every penny of the money. I would 100% recommend Haslams, do not look anywhere else!
