This is a pretty easy review to write as I have been very happy with the help and service I received from Adam Heathcock. My Grandmother passed away and we had to sell her house. Knowing it was going into probate we thought it would be a hard process and hard to sell but Adam has made things very easy for us. He’s kept us up to date through the whole process and sold the property almost straight away. If my family and I move in the future I will definitely be contacting Adam at Austin & Wyatt again.

My fiancée and I had decided to sell our two houses and get one between us. We saw one on the Totton Austin and Wyatt website, arranged a viewing and knew straight away it was the one we wanted. At that point our houses were not on the market. Russell came round to value ours and get them on to the market and he said they that he had every confidence that we would sell both of ours and we would get the house we wanted. Within a week I accepted an offer on mine and not long after my fiancée accepted and offer on hers. Our offer was accepted on the house we wanted and we now complete today 20 September. True to their word Russell and the team made it happen. We can’t speak highly enough of the team at Austin and Wyatt as they have all been brilliant Russell, Matthew and Ryan. We have been kept informed all the way throughout with regular contact from the team. Always willing to help, answer any questions and have a real can do attitude to make what is obviously a stressful process as smooth as possible. As an example we got to the office at 5:30 on a Friday evening and Russell made time for us not leaving till gone 7 to talk us through some points to ensure we were happy. At the same time we met with Sue the countrywide consultant to deal with our mortgage. Sue was brilliant right from the first meeting talking us through each step, patiently taking us through the applications and finding the best and right mortgage for us. Again nothing was too much trouble for Sue always willing to go that extra step to speak to the mortgage company and us. What we noticed as well was the true professionalism in that although based in the same office Sue was representing us on the financial side and Russell and the team on the house sales and purchase each with their own remit and that was totally respected and never jeopardised. In terms of solicitors we used the countrywide ones for both sales and the purchase. With use of the on line portal and again through the great communication we had one lawyer for the three transactions and this worked fantastically. Whilst we have no intention of moving ourselves for the foreseeable future we would have no hesitation using the Totton Austin and Wyatt, Countrywide consultant and Countrywide solicitors again and would recommend them to anyone. Finally a big thank you to Russell, Sue, Matthew and Ryan who were all involved and made it happen.

I've been pleased with the success of the selling process since moving the sale to Austin & Wyatt. I was originally keen to try smaller, local agencies, however, having spent some time on the market, I came to realise it's more about the exposure an agency has to potential buyers. A&W offered a realistic perspective of the market, an efficient process for reaching potential buyers, I was regularly updated on progress, and I reached a quick sale. Russell and Paula have provided a very good level of service to me throughout the sale.

Cutomer testimonial for Mr Hammond regarding the sale of his mothers property 10 Kinross Road, Rushington; Last autumn it became apparent that there was going to be a need to relocate my elderly widowed mother from Totton, where she had been living since 1955, down to Dartmouth in order to be nearer to me. In addition to being unable to come back to Totton at that particular time due to work commitments, i hadnt lived in that area for over 30 years and no longer had any contacts that could help me in this matter. Consequently, i was left with no option but to telephone around in the hope of finding a local estate agent, who would not only assist me with the sale of her property but also, and most importantly in my opinion, be able to deal with an elderly person at a difficult time in her life in a caring and sensitive manner. With the exception of Austin & Wyatt, all the other estate agents i telephoned came across as slightly lukewarm and not overly receptive to my predicament.
