The whole Clarke Mews team were great. From day one when Darcy valued our home, getting the house on the market with Sam, to the negotiations with our buyer from Katie and then following through with the solicitors from Polly. They were truly excellent and we are glad we went with them. Their customer service is excellent and reassuring in what can be a very stressful few months.

The selling team at Clarke Mews are excellent and did a first class job. Very professional and kept us fully informed until the sale had been agreed. However then things take a definite downward plunge. Although the company had been told on numerous occasions the point of contact, that was ignored by the office manager. But their 'piece de resistance' was the 'Progression team' who I would have thought were there to protect primarily our interests as we were paying for their services, when in fact they allowed the buyers to control the whole process and our wishes and instructions were totally ignored. Therefore if using this company again I would ask for a discount and ask that only the initial identification of a buyer was the service contracted for.

I had used Clarke Mews in the past when it was owned by Graham Clarke,, who I found to be very difficult to deal with. So when we put our house on the market using the same agents it was mainly because they were the main local agent and the Agency was no longer under the same ownership. I have to say it was really enlightening to find a welcoming Staff who acted in a thoroughly professional manner and treated us with respect which was not our previous experience with this agency. The Agency is now, run by Mr Darcy Seal, who is absolutely excellent. Everything he said they would do actually transpired and in a completely helpful, professionally friendly manner. I was more than impressed with the way they sold our house and with the travel through the tedious journey of the transaction. I would definitely use them again and thoroughly recommend Mr. Seal and his staff.

Very good service provided by everyone at Clarke Mews in difficult circumstances . Always kept up to date with progress of sale and purchase. Unlike previous online estate agent where you have to do everything yourself and always having to chase them for progress reports. Definitely worth paying that bit extra than an online only estate agent for a more personal service and a less stressful one.

If you use Clark Mews, make sure you ask for Jackie Whitcher. She is professional and responsive as you would expect, but also incredibly kind, caring and funny. We ended up having a private buyer and therefore didn't need an estate agent but regardless of this, Jackie helped talk me through what would need to be done (e.g EPC) despite the fact that none of this would benefit the estate agency whatsoever. Massively recommend.

I used James Berry there in house financial advisor and he was amazing through out the hole process! Unfortunately he had to apply for my mortgage four times due to fall throughs and re-negotiations on price. At no point did he get frustrated with the added workload. If anything he became more helpful giving me all the relevant information on the different mortgage products and ensuring I make the right decision going forward. I work for an estate agents myself who has an in house advisor so it would be fair to say I had high expectations. James without a doubt surpassed those, I would recommend him to anyone!

I am sorry but from the experience I had, I wouldn’t recommend Clarke Mews. Really nice people but it would have been less stressful if they had been honest about the people I was trying to buy from. They were struggling to get a loan for the apartment they wanted, but I wasn’t told this until I suggested I start looking elsewhere.
