D.Wayne and Joe at Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents wholly deserve this five star review.
From the initial consultation through to exchange they were prompt, courteous and professional. Of the three local estate agents they valued our house the highest and utilised an 'open house day' method which achieved three offers at full asking price on the very first day! This then achieved an additional bid and acceptance which clearly wouldn't have been possible if it was sold in the traditional manner. We were lucky enough to be able to put an offer on a house that weekend for a house also sold by Wayne, which was accepted.
As the only party affected by the stamp duty holiday deadline, we were happy with the service and responses we got throughout the process from Wayne and Joe. We were able to complete within the short window before the stamp duty deadline.
If I were ever to move again. I wouldn't hesitate in using Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents services again.

After a lot of deliberating we chose to go with Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents and I am glad that we did. From initial conversation to finally getting the keys to our new house we found Richard and Wayne a delight to deal with.
The main thing I liked about them was their honesty. They told us the truth, not just what they thought we wanted to hear.
They found us the perfect house and we had an offer accepted before it even hit Rightmove. Our house sold for the asking price within a couple of weeks of being listed.
If you want someone who will chase your chain, tell you the truth and actively hunt for a buyer/seller, then look no further than Richard and Wayne.
We will definitely use them again and would encourage friends and family to contact them as well.

J.Overall an ok lettings agency. On the pro side, they were fairly prompt with any response or query that we had. Starting and ending the renting process was fairly straight forward and we had very few issues. However, certain staff members can be quite patronising and rude, on numerous occasions as well. If you are ever have an issue, its a case of 'you handle it' rather than 'more than happy to help.' All in all, could be better but the rating matches the performance over the length of our contract.

I can honestly say that he made what should of been a very daunting experience incredibly seamless and pleasant. No question was too much, and he really did go above and beyond on multiple occasions.
Personally we couldn't be happier with our experience.
C. P.The service was exemplary in most parts, and the only reason that this is not 5 star was some dissatisfaction with the inspections.
I believe that this may be a training need, but in our experience the staff that have carried out the inspections tend to sometimes talk down to you as if you have never had a house before. I realise that there are good tenants and bad, but maybe some background research?
R. H.My Waterside property has been let through Hythe & Waterside Estate & Lettings Agents ("HWELA") since 2006. HWELA has always found excellent tenants and at the time of writing I have only had void period lasting circa 1 month or so. I have found HWELA to be very efficient and competent in dealing with my property and my tenants. It has a broad team who I have found to be professional and businesslike. I would not have any hesitation in recommending HWELA to other landlords.
