Although I've decided to use another agent in selling my property the guys at Jackson Bailey are exceptional, responsive, extremely professional, and hungry for business. All qualities I value in business. Great communication throughout, chasing up and asking for feedback, responsive, polite, professional, friendly and if the business was larger, I'd have gone with them. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for an up-and-coming estate agency business, and I hope to do business with them in the future. Edit: I've subsequently sacked my previous estate agent and have gone with Jackson Bailey to take my property to market, as their communication and responsive is absolutely first-class. God I wish we just went to Jackson Bailey at the start!! On recommendation we first went with Pearson's, the so called leading local estate agent. They were awful, we then went dual agency with Fox and Sons, who were better, but still not great. We found they both did a great sales pitch in order to sign you up and were impressive.... Until you signed up at which point they seemed to lose interest. After coming off the market briefly we looked around and Jackson Bailey came up. We have just completed on the selling of our house and wanted to give a review regarding our experience with Jackson Bailey. From beginning to end they have been very professional and given a very personal service. We have mostly been liaising with Ben and have found him to be very professional, friendly and focused. All viewings of our house were arranged by a very handy WhatsApp Group that included Ben and his colleague Jack. Jack was also fantastic and excellent with communications. We found the WhatsApp group perfect for confirming viewings as we both work. Feedback from each viewing was instant, quite often we would receive it within 10mins of the Viewing finishing. All offers were handled professionally and as Ben in particular does not always work to the normal confinement of 9-5, so negotiations were discussed well after 6pm which was brilliant for us! Once our house was under offer, Ben remained professional and informative throughout. Ben was very efficient and kept us in the loop at all times. He also helped to maintain a good relationship with all chain parties. Ben always went above and beyond and provided such excellent customer service. We signed up with Jackson Bailey after 9 weeks of numerous unsuccessful viewings and 0 offers from another agent in Hedge End. Jack came round and explained how they operate and we decided at that moment based on the way that he came across that we wanted to list our property with them. Expectations were managed throughout and we sold the property for almost exactly what we listed it, based on Jack's advice, inside of 1 week. As with most house sales, things slowly progressed as others in the chain concluded their searches and enquiries and such. Around a month prior to our exchange date (today), Jack took it upon himself to start trying to move things along, given the end of the SDLT holiday ending on March 31st. Since that time, Jack has managed to get all of the solicitors on board with exchanging today and we've got a completion date that gives everyone enough time to get things in order. All of this in the midst of a global pandemic and a national lockdown. Jackson Bailey were able to simply do something our previous agents were unable to do - sell our house. This is only part of the picture and story however.... From the very moment that Ben came to our house to meet myself and my partner Katie, we knew that he would do his best for us. From the initial discussion and our frustrations shared about our experiences with two other agents we had already marketed with (Purplebricks - avoid them at all costs, they have to be the worst agent in history unless you want to be on the market with no viewings in a 6 week period!) we were able to progress and move forward. Within a very short space of time, we had lots of viewings and interests and were able to accept an offer down the line for a little less than our asking price. The photos that Ben took stood out and showed our house in a perfect picture, I firmly believe that this and the brochure produced supported the sale. Throughout the process, we have been kept in touch with by Ben and Jack through lots of medians such as text and email. Through our jobs, it was difficult to speak on the phone a lot so by being able to communicate this way, it was effective for us. I would say that this would be appropriate for people who work throughout the week and can just reply quickly to a text or email. If and when we choose to move on to a new property, despite now being located in Whiteley, I will be straight on the phone to Ben because I know he will do all he can for us. From having members of my own family previously working in estate agency, I know there are some strong stereotypes as to what the "traditional" estate agent is. Whatever you think that is, positive or negative, Jackson Bailey provide an over and above service. I would therefore recommend Jackson Bailey over any other agent in the area. There really is little that we can say that has not already been said in their collection of reviews to date, but to reciprocate the views of many, the team at Jackson Bailey are professional, knowledgeable, supportive (and by that we mean, they go above and beyond, out of hours contact, and an ear to vent frustrations), they are patient with their clients, and always steadfast in efforts to achieve the end goal. Our conveyance took 24 weeks in these trying times, but without Ben and the team, we expect our conveyance would have taken far longer if at all.
