Very impressive service from this local branch. I bought a flat as a Buy To Let through them. I received an outstanding service from Alex and his support staff. They kept me posted at all stages of the process. When we had a completion date set, I asked Laura the lettings manager to set the ball rolling and within 4 weeks of completion, I had tenants moving in! She couldn't have been more helpful, with lots of advice on the finish and expected standard of the flat for tenants. The person who was dealing with me was Mr. Alex Tapp. The service he provided me was excellent and I did say to him, if one day I decide to sell my own house, I would certainly use his branch. I visited the house I was buying several times (more than 5 or 6 times) and every time Alex was available and willing. Every time I wanted to visit the house for one reason or another, even though I was ashamed to ask for another visit yet again, Alex treated me as it was like my first visit. I would like to thank Ben from the Hedge End branch for all of his help one Friday evening. The estate agents that were selling the property I was buying (Richmonds next door) had closed earlier than advertised (17:20 instead of 18:00) and I rushed there to get my keys when I got the call to say the sale had completed. Richmonds were completely shut and I was extremely stressed out after an awful day and Richmonds acting very rudely towards me. Ben was extremely helpful when I spoke to him to ask if he knew whether Richmonds were definitely shut; he tried phoning lots of people and finally managed to get through to someone who worked there who came back and finally gave me my keys. Ben was under no obligation to help me but seriously saved me from having a full blown meltdown and was so kind by staying late to help me get the issue resolved. I cannot thank him enough and wanted you to know how great he was! I would definitely use Leaders if I was selling a property as you clearly have staff who genuinely care - even for those who aren't their customers.
