Wonderful service from local experts. Tom and Claire have been brilliant from the time they helped us secure the rental to now when we are having to move elsewhere. The landlord obviously uses them as maintenance agents and I’m glad he does. They are super fast and professional. Nothing is ever too much trouble and every transaction (email, phone call, in person) is friendly and efficient. I’ve been a landlord in the past and I wish I’d had a Pococks! Strongly recommend.

I purchased a property through Pococks. I found them very easy to deal with and it was very clear that they really cared about their customer. Our sale fell through and so had to go back to market briefly and initially that meant that for us, as buyers, we were a little anxious about how things were going to go based on Pococks response. However, it was very clear that this was only because they really wanted to make sure that their customer got the best from them and were not messed around by buyers. We mostly dealt with Katy and she was very professional and really responsive and communicative which made the whole process less stressful for us and I would definitely look to sell through them next time we move.

Friendly, professional and very responsive. We were selling our property in Dibden Purlieu. Tom handled the valuation and provision of the necessary information for selling. We had not sold a property in over 30yrs so needed some guidance. We had 3 separate valuations from agencies but decided to go with Pococks as Tom was excellent, very relaxed, friendly and helpful and we felt he gave a realistic valuation of our property. Once we had decided to go with Pococks we were mainly handled by Katy. Once again, friendly, helpful and very responsive to our questions and needs. Pococks are also (we believe) the only agent in the area who charge a set fee (no sale no fee) which we felt was realistic and helped us to budget accordingly (no hidden costs). Pococks are a family business and it is clear that they care about their customers. We are happy to recommend them based on our own experience and if we had another property to sell in the area, we would definitely use them again.

The team are faultless - always so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I found every single member of the team at Pococks not only very knowledgeable but also extremely helpful Just wish I’d utilised them an awful lot sooner instead of the previous Estate Agent I used, who sold me the promise of a good service but failed miserably to deliver on all counts. The team at Pococks are very friendly, twined with a fabulous GSOH but are professional as well as on point at the same time. Most importantly though, they do actually deliver what they say they will which is not only refreshing but realistically how you would expect a business who truly values their own level of Customer Service to be. Disappointingly, this seems to be extremely rare these days and by personal choice, I like to back and support independent businesses where possible anyway. They have been so... supportive as regards to my own circumstances and nothing you appear to ask of them is any trouble at all. Having worked myself in the Customer Service Industry for many many years, these guys are certainly on a similar level and have definitely got their own business acumen just right. In summary, you’d truthfully find it a real challenge to discover a better Estate Agent than Pococks to buy, sell or rent any property. I can assure you I’m a totally genuine and local client of theirs, who’s finally managed to achieve the sale of their 1 bedroom flat in Marchwood. I would recommend Pococks estate agents with complete faith in them to do an amazing job. We rented out our house via Pococks for ten years and eventually sold it through them too. Firstly the service provided for rentals was exceptional, as there was never a hitch. Maintenance was done when needed, via local (i.e. good value) contractors, and they have contacts for everything. We were always offered a range of services, covering cheaper short term fixes, verses longer term, more expensive fixes, with a pros and cons for each. Rents were always collected in a timely manner, and the one time we had tenants who did not live up to their end of the bargain, they were removed at the end of their contract and monies collected for the damage done. I would say Pococks strike the balance perfectly between Landlord and tenant, and the they served their tenants as well as they served me. Often helping me with moral dilemmas about rents rises and considering the welfare of the tenants. Perhaps more a statement about my morals, but appreciated by me! When it came to selling our house, we were extremely lucky to get an offer the day it went on the market, but we hadn't yet signed a contract, but they did not let this get in the way, based on our ongoing relationship. The sale went through very smoothly and I could not utter one bad word. One final point, we originally considered, when renting the property out, out of town cheaper agents, and went with them for a month or two, but they did not deliver. Pococks did straight away - they have the longevity and trust that only a local agency can deliver. One final final point :) We worked with them remotely for the whole ten years, and whenever we needed a favour, they helped us out, without charge. In fact we did not see them or the house for ten years, and nothing could have been smoother - in fact even on final completion of sale everything was done for us, such as forwarding address, bills, clearing the house etc. Trust these guys - they're the best! I'd had a bad time due to some poor choice of business partners prior to renting with Pockocks, I had bad credit and was not in a stable position. They took a chance on me and I've been very grateful ever since. Fee's were pretty standard but since moving in I've never been charged fees for renewal or even when I locked myself out and had to get the lock drilled out. Only problem I've ever had was rectified in under 24 hours. Overall; I'd thoroughly recommend them as letting agents.
