Richards James fees maybe higher than others, however they are 100% worth it. The Sales team were excellent and found our perfect house within days of ours selling. Chris Roberts was superb as our Sales Progression contact, he kept us up to date every week and towards the end of the process we were talking daily, he did a great job ensuring that he kept on top of our solicitors to make sure they were doing their job, it was a pleasure to deal with Chris, he is friendly and an ultimate professional.

I had such a horrific experience selling and buying previously that I have to say, Matt, Luke and Matt have been amazing. They sold my house less than 7 days for the price I wanted. They had to work around, me getting the dogs out for every viewing and also never timing it right coming back, whilst they were still showing, and my poor son sleeping off nights! Sue and I would like to thank all of the staff at Richard James. Between them they kept our chain together. We initially sold within 4 days of going on the market back in March 2018. This however fell through twice. (No ones fault) They worked hard to find us a new buyer at the beginning of June and our chain of 8 properties finally completed on 18th October. I put the success of this move down to one significant fact. We used a local, traditional Estate Agent. I cannot emphasize enough the advantages of being able to deal with your agent face to face if you need to. On numerous occasions throughout this process our patience was tested by others in our chain. The progressions team worked flat out to keep me up to date with any issues. They held our chain together with all the skill, diplomacy and experience that comes from a best in class estate agent. We would not hesitate in recommending Barry, his team at Shaw and the amazing and often unsung hero's Chelsea and Jo (Progressions team) who helped us keep our sanity. We placed our house up for sale with Richard James back in March, after meeting with Alex Hornby, I felt confident that he would find the right buyer for our property and he understood we wanted a quick sale, so only got people in to view that were ready to progress. Alex was really helpful in guiding us on how to present our house for the right type of buyer as well, which I personally think helped as we sold within 2 days of the house being up for sale. Good communication. Chris in after sales has been good at keeping everything moving. The only negative (if I can call it that) was that we had about 30 viewings. Given the quality and location of house it really should have sold alot quicker that those numbers and time to sell suggest or alot of those were not looking at the right house.
