I would highly recommend Michael and his team. Finding a rental in Cornwall at the moment is crazily competitive and I am moving from the North East so viewing properties was not possible. Michael was very efficient at arranging viewings and sending informative videos back to me which gave me a good insight into what the flats were like. Having Michael with all of his knowledge of Cornwall and his contacts has really took the pressure off finding a property. If I end up looking to buy in the future I will definitely use Cornwall Property Consultancy again!

I would absolutely recommend Michael and Krissy at Cornwall Property Consultancy. Krissy helped us find our perfect home, after 6 months and 21 house viewings we finally moved in a week ago. We moved from Oxford to north Cornwall. Although we was familiar with the area Krissy really helped with pointing out the day to day practicalities I.e doctors, dentist. Krissy worked with us through the process from viewing houses on our behalf, sending us videos, negotiations and progress with solicitors etc. Krissy took the time to get to know us as people, our likes and dislikes and went above to make our move possible. Krissy has been fantastic throughout our journey to fulfil our dream and move to Newquay. We lived in London and found it difficult to shoot down to Newquay to view when the right property went on the market. Michael was a real rock throughout our rental search. We came to him like a deer caught in headlights, full of questions, anxious and nervous that we would find something, considering the current market (which is insane right now- very little and A LOT of competition). He immediately put our minds at ease, all while managing our expectations and being honest with what we were up against. Michael was extremely patient with me, answered all my questions and messages, even well after business hours. For us what made him invaluable was his ability to view a property we found off market. While we could have done a video viewing with the landlord, we chose Michael to view the property and report back to us. His experience in the field was very much appreciated and as the property was one found privately, we needed someone who we trusted with experience to ensure that all was as it should be. Looking for a home hundreds of miles away is a nightmare and incredibly daunting. However with Michael’s help, it made it much easier and gave us the sense of security that we would not have had doing it on our own. We cannot recommend Michael enough. Amid the madness of the current market, Michael was a real godsend. He was able to view properties on our behalf as we were moving back from the Lakes. He even picked up our keys for us and let the removers in when we had an untimely tyre ‘blow out’ on the motorway. Michael is a warm and friendly chap who is exceptionally professional. Cornwall Property Consultancy did a fantastic job for us when we were looking to move back to Cornwall, having spent a number of years away. Although we knew the area well and had family there, having professionals like CPC ‘on the ground’, so to speak, considerably reduced the stress involved in finding a new home. We were able to quickly narrow down a shortlist of properties which Michael at CPC advised on and viewed (with video recordings), which ultimately meant that we did not end up travelling a long distance to view properties that were not right for us. Even once we’d agreed to buy a property, Michael and the team helped to smooth things along and deal with any hiccups along the way. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that retaining CPC to help us find a home was a great idea.

We asked Michael to view a property in Devon, as we were unable to see it ourselves due to Covid and homeschool. We are a family of 5 and moved to Cornwall from Staffordshire in September 2020 and have been staying in an Airbnb. We thought being in Cornwall it would be easier to get viewings etc, this hasn’t been the case...we have managed to secure one viewing since September. Living in Hong Kong we have found it very difficult and frustrating, over the last 18 months or so, to try and find and secure a Cornish apartment which met our specific criteria, especially as the market had been rising strongly since the outbreak of Covid. Therefore we decided that we needed to find a"search" agency based in Cornwall ie one which acted solely for the buyer not the seller :we found Michael Kleinman at Cornwall Property Consultancy. Krissy Klaiber of CPC, handled our account and soon started to send us details of potential properties, matching our specific requirements, and with feedback from ourselves the search became increasingly focussed until she highlighted an apartment which "ticked most of the boxes". We instructed her to begin negotiations immediately. From day one Krissy handled everything in a pleasant, efficient and professional way. She arranged inspections, sent us videos and contacted us by WhatsApp so that we soon had a real feel for what we were buying. During the negotiations she chased up the agents and solicitors and helped us arrange the HomeSurvey. As a result she was able to convince the vendors that they were dealing with a genuine and keen buyer and so the property was quickly taken off the market. Krissy has continually gone out of her way to help us and continues to do so although technically her work has finished, now that the sale has completed. We cannot recommend Krissy and Michael enough: they have taken the stress out of what was proving to be an extremely difficult exercise to acquire a property, which met all of our requirements, in a red hot Cornish market.
