Sales Negotiator Janice progressed the sale to exchange of contracts, the whole process from launch to exchange took only 12 weeks, which given the traditionally slower winter months was very impressive. So before reading my review be aware that my praise is a rare commodity. Now for Lillicrap and Chilcott.
I gave the responsibility for selling my house to Andrew Chilcott and his team. The word 'team' is the important bit and the basis of my praise for all that followed. They all did a cracking good job. Perhaps most important, I felt that they had enough staff to ensure that any enquiry would not go unanswered or a response delayed. Part way through the selling process and before the eventual buyer hove into sight, I moved and although I now live thousands of miles away from Truro, I was constantly up dated on how things were evolving. This more than anything contributed to this positive review . In other words Lillicrap & Chilcott worked professionally and were rewarded with success.

M. R.I dont want to sound over exuberant because that would make me sound like an Estate Agent! However credit where credit is due. Lillycrap Chilcott (LC) were interviewed along with two other of Truro's highly acknowledged Property Agents to see which of them best met our needs and expectations. Many people were quizzical of our final selection. It is funny how your friends and neighbours always seem to have an opinion about 'your choice' of agents when selling you home. "Why did you choose LC?" Why didnt you go with xxx? Etc. I found this questioning a wonderful opportunity to put them straight on a few facts of life... LC were at interview head and shoulders above their competitors.
Thoughtful, rational and above all confident of their appraisal of our property and the timescale and price we were likely to achieve. I was adamant that what ever the situation that I be kept informed at least once a week as to viewings and the current market situation. It was an easy appointment to make.
On a weekly basis the well knit team in Truro would update me on viewings and opportunities. They were always considerate and helpful and above all knowledgeable about our property. The team were faultless in their execution and within the time frame that Andrew and Mark thought likely for a sale.
The sale was handled by Peter Lightfoot who was what I call an endearing old school agent.
