Alan is by far the best estate agent I have ever dealt with; the most important thing for us was that we wanted to be kept informed of what was going on, and Alan regularly called with updates. If I had an enquiry that he needed to come back to me on, he would ALWAYS let me know when he would provide an update, and he would ALWAYS keep his word and call me back. That seems to be a rarity in the murky world of the house buying process, and for me it sets Alan apart from other agents. It was not a good start for me and had bad experience with another agent who kept many things hidden from me and seller pulled off during the contract exchange.
