I was lucky to have the great team at Andrew Grant working with me to guide me through the process of renting a property recently. The added complication was that I was doing this long distance from California! The whole team of Tracey Richardson, Will Burgoyne and Abigail Hill were fantastic - very responsive to my multiple emails, providing detailed and accurate information, and guided me through the whole process. Working with Will on the letting of our family home was a very positive experience. We were relocating to the US but wanted to keep our home should we choose to return. The front desk staff/personnel were great, but when things started going wrong, we struggled to get the information we needed. It was a complicated sale, and there were issues with the original listing's accuracy, and subsequent difficulties as a result of miscommunication between the seller, their conveyancer and Andrew Grant's team. I've taken some more time to consider the process, and spoken with the management team, and have gained a little more insight into the specific challenges they faced when dealing with a difficult sale. As a result, i'm ammending my original review, and leaving a neutral 3-star score. I'd like to thank the manager for taking the time to reach out, and share more of their process and the issues they faced. There were problems with the seller, their conveyancer, and yes, the agent as well, but it would be unfair to place the bulk of the blame on Andrew Grant's team.

We initially had Nigel Poole come to our property and make a valuation. They had one of our neighbours, with the exact same house on the market. We felt like we were easy commission, not much positive action or drive and we then had a visit from Andrew Grant. The young gentleman, Aaran Addis, was so much more upbeat and positive, so we decided to go with Andrew Grant and informed Nigel Poole of our decision out of professional courtesy. We then had a phone call, from one of the Partners at Nigel Poole (female) on the same day at 8pm asking why we chose Andrew Grant. After explaining to them our reasoning (which we didn't have to), I was told 'you've made a terrible decision', and 'you have instructed a company that does nothing for the same commission percentage'. In the end, we sold within 5 weeks, and our neighbours are still waiting to sell theirs. I think proof is in the pudding. In terms of the estate agent himself, Aaran Addis was an absolute pleasure to work with.
