Having had the property for sale through a different agent for 6 weeks, with 30+ viewings and no sale, Jacobs Steel managed to sell the property in a week and a half, simply by getting the right people to come and view it. I couldn't believe how quickly they matched up the property with a suitable buyer.
They then closely managed the entire transaction looking after and updating not only me, but also my buyer, which I think is massively important. Both parties were always kept in the loop as to where we were and what would happen next. We ran into a couple of hiccups along the way and Jacobs Steel managed these seamlessly, not letting anyone worry or panic.
I felt incredibly supported throughout and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Luke did a outstanding job on the day of completion, due to Barclays Bank computer going down all day, I finally exchanged at 17.00pm, only because Luke spoke personally to my seller. And last but not least, Perry . Perry showed me around my flat and was also on hand to show my house to protentional clients. This chap will have a successful career in the Estate Agency business but with his sense of humour could also be a stand up comedian!!.

S. C.It’s so difficult for me to give 5 stars, although the service from Jacobs Steel was very good. Our problems have arisen since moving in, and our problems are with Rocco Homes.
2 days after moving in, we noticed a wet patch on the living room ceiling which quickly spread and showed itself in other parts of the ceiling. We called the out of hours number for Jordan and Cook and we were visited by Lisa, very quickly. Lisa identified the source of the leak, it was from a leaking radiator in the flat above, she arranged a plumber to attend to stop it from getting worse. She also arranged for José, from Rocco to come the next morning to assess the damage. Jose advised that Rocco would attend our flat to re- paint the ceiling, once the wet patches had dried. He suggested we wait 2 weeks for drying to be complete.
After waiting for the appropriate time, I contacted Rocco to request one of their painters to come to re-paint the ceiling, also some other snagging issues. The other snagging issues include the radiator in the en- suite does not work, the extractor fan does not have a switch in the bathrooms, various scuff marks and holes in the walls from when the flat was dressed as a show flat.
I have been emailing Rocco Homes but with no success so far. They have consistently ignored my emails and every occasion needed another email from me to prompt a reply. He did suggest 1 date for contractors to attend but this was unsuitable due my being out of the country at that time. I then gave a series of alternate dates but he seems to have now stopped responding to me at all
I have now asked for assistance from Jordan and Cook but so far, they have not been able to get any progress.
I am extremely disappointed with this lack of service from Rocco homes and, unfortunately, this affects my overall satisfaction with our move. We are also disappointed with the sound insulation between flats but this, I suppose is to be expected with a timber framed building(we were led to believe there were concrete floors) and laminate floors in the upstairs flats. I can hear the people above moving around their flat and can also hear their shower and toilet flushing.
So sorry to unload all my problems onto you but I thought you might like to know about it.
Had these problems not arisen, then I would have certainly given a better star rating to you. Unfair I know, but it’s how I feel
Obviously if there’s anything you can do to influence Rocco to fix my problems, then I would be most grateful. Especially as you are still marketing a property in this building.

We found them to be courteous, polite and knowledgable, they returned phone calls promptly, answered emails and the Contract were efficiently dawn-up/amended and transacted on time. We needed tradesmen promptly to prepare the property and the local office knowledge base was invaluable. We were also very pleased with the quality of Jacobs Steel's advertising that got us to this stage. All-in-all, a great job!

We were given notice by our previous landlords somewhat unexpectedly just two days before going on a cruise in the Caribbean. After a false start with another agent we contacted Jacobs Steel whilst still away and arranged a viewing for the day we flew back to the UK. Despite us being somewhat bleary eyed for the viewing and the chaos that was starting to occur around us due to Covid 19 Sophie was enthusiastic in showing us around the property, which we fell in love with immediately.
