R. K.When we met Richard at the first house we viewed it was clear Chestnut Solutions do things very differently and we went onto buy a home being marketed by Richard and Julie. During the months of searching we got to know them and their unique style of personal and personable service. For me, it was more like dealing with a friend - helpful, supportive and always there when needed. Quite something for an estate agency! I congratulate them on their insightful decision to do things their way - focused personal service.
T.I initially spoke with Richard as we were looking to purchase a specific type of property in a specific location in York. Richard very quickly organised a viewing with a property that he was aware was due to be marketed, but was not yet publicly available and should tick all our criteria. Richard then brokered a deal off market that was beneficial to all involved, allowing privacy, flexibility and ultimately a good price for his client.
Throughout the whole process Richard was personable, communicative, responsive and professional and I would not hesitate recommending Richard, Julie and Chestnut Solutions to anyone looking to either sell or buy purchase their perfect home.

He identified potential buyers for our home quickly ( and drew them from all over the country) and arranged viewing ‘days’ with several people on the same day to minimise our inconvenience. The first was a property in quite a niche market in rural York and was quite a sensitive sale. Richard was the second agent to market the property and the difference was night and day.
