Fantastic company to deal with. We didn't end up selling our house as we couldn't find a property we liked enough to make the move and have now decided to come off the market but I still wanted to write this review as Lancaster Samms were brilliant throughout. James Nicholson was our agent and he sold our house, very quickly, twice! Both times the buyers were very patient waiting for us to find somewhere but inevitably, they eventually pulled out of the sale as we took far too long and just couldn't find the right house. Thankfully both buyers are more than happy with their decisions, one came off the market and the other has found a new property which they love, so it all worked out okay. James was brilliant with all parties, keeping everyone up to date and being completely honest and open with communication. It was the first time we have ever been made to feel like valued clients by an estate agent and not just another commission. We made it clear at the beginning that we would not want to move unless the right property came along and James was always very transparent with the buyers about our feelings. We have experienced, pushy estate agents in the past who just seemed to want the sale to go through no matter what and the whole moving experience then becomes very stressful. With James at Lancaster Samms, it was a completely different experience. He offered sound advice but also listened, he kept us up to date with any properties he felt might fit our brief, he was always honest to us and our buyers about both parties concerns and expectations, he was extremely knowledgeable about the housing market and extremely professional throughout but also very human, and made us feel that he had our best interests at heart. We also met Elkie from Lancaster Samms, who did a few of the viewings, again, a true professional and a really lovely, decent person. All in all, Lancaster Samms have been a breath of fresh air from start to finish, I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have a quality about them that we have found hard to find in other estate agents and we will absolutely use them again when the time is right. Thank you James, Elkie and the rest of the team.

Throughout, what proved to be a difficult experience due to other estate agents not being as wonderful they ensured that they supported us and kept us informed of any issues. We bought our house through Lancaster Samms and Elkie Buckland was excellent - she drove the entire chain according to the needs of our transaction from buyers/sellers right through to solicitors and even removal firms. The only drawback would have been on days when Elkie wasn't working and other LS staff were unable to help with a case that wasn't theirs, but Elkie was so good/responsive even on days she wasn't working that the service we received was high-class throughout.

I can't recommend Jo and the team at Lancaster Samms enough; they were excellent - from the initial valuation through to completion. The friendly, professional manner we experienced throughout out sale was fantastic. Jo went above and beyond my expectations of an Estate Agent. The photographs and marketing material were excellent and the property was online and ready to view within hours of instruction. Viewings were booked immediately - I couldn't keep up with how many Jo had managed to get booked in within 24 hours! Within 5 days of our house being marketed, an offer of full asking price was received which we were over the moon with. Post offer, she managed the chain and chased down outstanding actions in order that the sale went through as quickly as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to use Lancaster Samms again in future.
