A highly professional and supportive team who stuck with me throughout an unusually arduous house sale that (through sheer bad luck and no fault of anyone at Reeds Rains) fell through several times over the course of around a year. Annie Sutton in particular handled the majority of my sale and made what could have been a very difficult process far more manageable with her prudent advice and her highly sympathetic representation of my various positions to potential buyers. My case was originally handled by the branch manager John Wroot who also stayed involved and attentive when necessary throughout the course of the sale. My deepest thanks goes out both to him and to Annie. In short, I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend Reeds Rains York to anyone looking to sell a house in the local area.

I am the freeholder of two rental flats that are managed by Reeds Rains. I have over the past 30 years been the landlord of many properties managed by various letting agencies and find that in comparison the performance of Reeds Rains letting department in York has been excellent. Whenever there has been a problem reported by a tenant, Reeds Rains has liaised with both landlord and tenant in a thoroughly professional, helpful and friendly way and the problem has been resolved. As you know, the maintenance department is based in the south, and because it is not local its remoteness has made dealing with problems more difficult. As I have become older I have found maintenance issues more taxing but Emma Hadaway has always been available to make sure that the maintenance department was able to help both me and the tenant. I always knew she was looking after the situation and it was always resolved to our satisfaction. This year there have been a few more problems and I have had the benefit of dealing with Jessica Johnson. Jessica has gone out of her way to help me resolve the issues. Relationships between landlord and tenant can be difficult but she has made it trouble free. Looking after both the tenant and landlord needs a professional but friendly approach and I am really grateful for her help. She is a great asset to Reeds Rains. The lettings office in York is doing a grand job and I would not hesitate recommend them to any prospective landlord.

It would have been so easy for Jess and the team at Reeds Rain York to forget about us, two relatively young perspective tenants with little renting experience, but Jess delivered exceptional customer service and tracked us down a property to let that we are now over the moon to call our home.
