Had an excellent dinner at Bistro Verde last night. It’s a great, vibrant restaurant with a good menu and pleasant & helpful staff. I had the scallops to start; they were perfectly cooked and tasted great. Followed by the venison which was spot on. My wife had couscous cakes to start and vegetable tart tatin and said both were excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant, and will certainly be back.

By pure chance we stopped in on the first Wednesday-night-tapas-takeover and it was fantastic. The patatas bravas were the star of the show, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The marinated olives are a great dish to nibble on throughout the meal but each dish we had was brilliant. We had garlic prawns and calamari too and they were great. Three dishes for fifteen quid is good value for money, eat here on Wednesday and you won't be disappointed.

Lovely little place, amazing seafood and the staff are lovely. The only reason I didn't put the 5 stars was that I was so disappointed they don't serve lobster. When you Google lobster bistro Verde comes up, so we were looking forward to it and then a little disappointed. I can't fault the food we had though.

Popped in after seeing mussels on menu online,purely by chance. What a great move!!!I had the mussels and white wine and cream sauce...to die for!!!!. Service brilliant and atmosphere great. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fabulous seafood experience. Well done to Chef and staff...Definately coming back when in area again,job well done.

One of the Best dinner dates I've ever had. Excellent service and amazing food. We will 100% be back. Make sure to book a table as it can be busy! 3 course meal and 2-3 cocktails each for about £85 (Share the nachos ;) ) Enjoy!!!

Nice seafood restaurant, good selection of seasonal seafood. Good wine card and daily specials. At our last visit the service was not very attentive, not dramatic but noticeable. Would absolutely go again. Sticky toffee pudding was great.

Was visiting Aberdeen and a good seafood restaurant, this place had great reviews. I got the 3 course lunch which included a starter, main and dessert. The Cullen skink starter was so flavorful and delicious, best part of my meal. I ordered the seafood platter for an additional £10 and it was alright. Half of my clams and muscles were empty and although they give you plenty I have had better. I got their cheesecake of the day which was peanut butter and that was sooo good. Decent price, if I were to go back I'd definitely try a different main.

Lovely atmosphere great service and stunning seafood. We ordered skink and trio of seafood starters which were polished off within minutes and declared exceptionally tasty. Mains were baked hake parmentier potatoes, chorizo, chilli cherry tomatoes and tender stem broccoli whilst I had seafood bisque. Again so tasty but a couple of niggles, neither dish had any spice for supposed cajun calamari in the starter nor chilli in the chilli cherry tomatoes with the hake. Then the third niggle, we ordered a cheeseboard to share which came with lovely biscuits and tasty chutney, but the cheese had little taste as it was too cold and appeared to have been taken straight from the fridge. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it and had we been visiting for longer would definitely return. Give it a try!

One of the better seafood restaurants I have visited. The staff were welcoming, ensured an easy visit and were genuinely excellent. The food stood up to the reviews of trip advisor, we indulged in all three courses. The starter of crab cakes was delectable, I had a surf and turf main, with a beautifully rare cooked fillet steak, alongside some large fresh tiger prawns and the 3 mini desserts combined a good mixture of flavours. I would visit again

Beautiful food, I had th scallops followed by the salmon. The salmon was a generous portion size. The staff were friendly and were only too happy to accommodate my dining companion who has a couple of food allergies. Nice wine list too.

This is a seafood cafe sitting in the green in the heart of Aberdeen city centre. With light and airy decor with a French feel to it. A small but busy restaurant with good views of the green and a great and reasonably priced menu. There was a good selection of food and the portions were a healthy size and well presented. The staff were lovely and friendly and very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would easily go again.

Had lunch with partner today and was very impressed. Two course lunch for £13.95 per head. We both had the Salt & pepper Calamari and it was cooked to perfection with a finely balanced salad. Also had the Fish Pie for main and neither of us could finish due to size of portion, Packed full of Salmon ,Sea Bass and a couple of Prawns. Pie was cooked fresh and roasting hot. Perfect for a cold March day. We will be back.

Fantastic seafood dishes. Great portion size. Fresh and varied selection used in each meal. Attentive staff, but not in your face every two minutes. Small selection of bottled beers, fortunately I liked all on offer - could extend the selection a bit. Nice wine at an OK price. I like too that the tables aren't all squeezed together to maximise seating. Surely one of Abz's best.

We wanted to go to a fish restaurant as Scotland typicall have fresh seafood. We selected Bistro Verde because it had good ratings. I don't know if we just had bad luck and came the wrong night? Service slow despite there were only a dozen guests, including us. The serving of fish soup was generous and quite tasty, though not jawdropping. The Cullen Skink was a disappointment. Personally I would have preferred half the size of the serving for a more affordable price.

Bistro verde Sunday lunch - wow. Delicious meals in delicate portions that don't break the bank. The outside eating area with blankets is just delightful. It is a short walking distance from the train and bus station, so perfect for a boozy lunch 😉
