It was really good sangria and tapas. We got 9 tapas between the 4 of us and we got dessert too! It was all so yummy. Reccomend the patatas gratin and the Creme brulee. Being a vegetarian I didn't struggle at all. Very affordable.

The black pudding tapas is simply divine. Friends and I always get a few to share! We have tried both the mixed meat Paella and Seafood and both are lovely, big portions and easily enough for up to 4 (even 5) people if you also get tapas. Also, the Sangria is a must have! The staff are very helpful and sweet. Toilets are clean.

Went on Sunday, which I found is always "Tapas Sunday", giving a discounted full selection of three tapas dishes plus dessert, but not the full menu including large paella dishes. I wanted to try their tapas and hence chose the correct day. The service was excellent, genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful, and to my taste like food was excellent. Disclaimer: I have not eaten Tapas in Spain so cannot vouch for the authenticity. Highly recommended.

Tried out the five tapas and a dessert offer for £25 for two people which I thought was excellent. The food was nicely cooked and the mimosa I ordered went down a treat. The service was very attentive and the five dishes were more than enough for two people too. All in all a rather pleasant and enjoyable night.

My wife's favourite place to eat, yesterday was my first time visiting to treat her to a birthday lunch. We were first in and were seated quickly. Waitress was friendly and attentive. The decor and background music are great. We took advantage of the 3 tapas for 16.95, choosing 3 each and had additional bread with olive oil. All dishes were served quickly and very tasty. With drinks and 10% service charge meal came to just under £55 because I chose some dishes with a surcharge. In summary, good atmosphere, great staff, excellent food. 5 stars. I will be back!

Within a few minutes if the city centre with parking almost in the doorstep. It was an obvious choice for us to celebrate a graduation. A warm welcome from very friendly staff and a good table with plenty of room. The food was tremendous and very reasonably priced. There was a good selection of cocktails and mocktails. I enjoyed the latter as designated driver. Definitely a must go if you would like to experience beautiful food.

Fantastic experience at Cafe Andaluz, highly recommend. The person serving us was Billy, he was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, full of flavor and my brothers & mum said the seafood was fresh. Lots of choice, quality items and selection ingredients. I was blown away by the thought and attention to detail had gone in to the decor and space. Very few places are like that now, you can tell every thing is thought and deliberately out there to create that ambience. You genuinely feel like you are on holiday, in the sunshine and spending time with family over good food. It allows that space to relax with my family. Had a great time in Cafe Andaluz! Charoula and Elena our waitresses were very attentive, they really made our night better! Food was great and the drinks were great too. The portions were slightly larger than other places I have been to with quality produce. Staff were attentive, quick to clear dishes but not intrusive. Wow... where to start. In short, nothing I can’t recommend about my time here this evening. You should eat at this restaurant. In long, we experienced a skilful journey through some of the finest Tapas I’ve ever had outside of Spain. Served by polite, friendly and attentive staff; everything about this culinary event simply shone. I would especially compliment the Gratin, the sauce was something else. Drinks were exactly what you would expect (not that this is a bad thing!), classic Spanish beers, wines and a damn fine sangria. We didn’t have dessert on this occasion, but I don’t doubt that it would impress based on the rest of the experience. 5 of of 5 does not do this justice; bravo!

However.... recently I've noticed "supplement charges" being added to over 50% of the early evening menu, which definitely wasn't the case before. I understand times change etc, but for my partner and I it was a tad disappointing and means (rather than going once a month for date night) it'll be less often now. Definitely worth a try though.

My only real complaint though was the heating, it was absolutely stifling hot inside, we may have stayed longer for after meal coffee but had to leave to get fresh air! The food was good, service was good, the price was a bit expensive in proportion with portion size and cost, be aware they add the tip onto the bill so no need to give an extra tip unless it's really deserved. Lost a couple of stars because of the tip being added to the bill, tips are supposed to be earned not just taken.

Everything was incredibly clean and there was a lovely atmosphere, even with all the covid strangeness at the moment. I had been apprehensive to go back into a restaurant, but I could not fault anything at all! We were safe and looked after. The food was all delicious! Lamb tagine was my favourite. Plenty of choice, had a hard time narrowing down to five dishes in all honesty. Can't wait to come back!

Service mixed - with a surly waitress at the start and an enthusiastic pleasant waitress at the end. All tapas were good except the prawns which were chewy/not spicy/disappointing. Others were really tasty and desserts were also good. Reasonable value except for soft drinks (but that is common!).

Really enjoyable lunch. Had tapas, calamari, tortilla, goats cheese in the oven, chorizo & butifarra (all really tasty), boquerones (ok) and paella (nothing especial. A tapa of pan tumaca was nice as well. Two jars of sangria quite tasty. Brownie for dessert was out of this world. Hot and soft with melting choc chips, and pistachios, and honeycomb ice-cream, what a combination, incredible 😋

The restaurant is clean and roomy with lots of nice touches like the tiled walls and art decorations . the service has always been first class and the food is just amazing , our kids love it here and for them the choice is plentifull. After our meal, we sat at the bar and the gentleman manning the bar was just great... he was busy making the orders but still keep asking if we are ok.... he kept cleaning the bar area and when he didn't have orders to make, he helps serving.... the managers also kept asking if we need anything and when we felt peckish, they were happy to serve us additional food at the bar... very happy with the service...

Enjoyed a decent meal of tapas with a couple of Estrella lagers. The place has a nice atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and quite efficient. Only 4 stars because from reading the menu, I was hoping for more authenticity. It all just seemed a bit like what you get if British chefs make Spanish recipes with British ingredients. Tasty enough, but not Spain. For example, the pan con tomate consisted of lightly toasted soft baguette, with chopped tomato. (The bread should be sliced, then ideally flame grilled, rubbed with raw garlic, then rubbed with ripe tomato.) The serrano ham seemed like it was out of a packet.

A wonderful tapas restaurant in the city centre. Cafe Andaluz - with its beautiful décor and tiling, and warm atmosphere - is a great place to come with friends to share some exceptional tapas or paella. Often busy in the evening, booking a table might be your best bet. The selection of food here is great - it was all so good that it is hard to pick out any particular favourite: the pork cheeks in puy lentils were so flavoursome and just fell apart in your mouth; both the lamb tajine and lamb chops were incredible and succulent; the patatas bravas and the couscous stuffed aubergine were sublime. But these are only some of the standout dishes: every new dish had the table praising the food. The staff are also excellent: incredibly friendly and helpful, and all-round welcoming. We used Aberdeen Restaurant Week as an opportunity to go somewhere new, but I definitely see another visit to Cafe Andaluz in the near future.

The last twice there have been problems with orders and delays. Yesterday I order a blackcurrant and lemonade for myself as I was driving and a pint for my hubby. They came with the drinks pint for hubby and vodka lemonade for me. I didn't drink it and instead asked for water. When the bill came I queried what finlandia was and was told that was the vodka.
