The best chipper I've ever been to. Tonight after a day out and about, myself and the wife could not face cooking. A trip to Chips on The Green was called for, and it did not disappoint. My wife had a chicken burger supper and her eyes lit up at the size of that chicken. I opted for the red pudding supper. I've never had a red pudding before, and genuinely didn't know what to expect. Turns out it's a sausage. Who knew? Absolutely brilliant dinner. Delicious food, no cooking and no dishes. What else could you ask for. Now if you excuse me, I'm meant to be on a diet. I'm off to the gym to work this off.

The chips are okay and the prices are a bit high. Staff are generally friendly but, seem more focused chatting with friends and gossiping.

Went to chips on the green for my tea tonight and placed quite a big order, everything was cooked perfectly and everyone enjoyed their meal. The smoked haddock & mozzarella fish cakes and the homemade pea purée are amazing! The staff are all polite and our order was ready quickly, we’ve always had great food when ordering from here! Will definitely be back! Good work guys :)
