R. R.Macaroni pie: perfect. Fish: good. Chips: soggy and sad. Maybe I was too early for good chips? (4:15pm on a Wednesday.) Fish prices a little high, other prices quite good. A good variety of options on the menu. Clean shop. Friendly service. Limited hours.
C.Been living in Aberdeen for 2 years and struggled to find a chippy as good as back home in Ayrshire. I’m pleased to say I’ve finally found one! Great size portions, lovely crispy batter on the fish and sausage and massive tattie fritters! Definitely found our regular! 👏🏻

M. R.First visit to Mike's chippy which recommend by a friend. Purchased two standard haddock suppers a bit pricey compared to our local chippies, however we thoroughly enjoyed them. The fish was thick and the batter was crispy, chips where nice and not greasy. Best fish supper we have had.
S. T.Wow, cheaper than most places, a good whack of the best chips ever, and the fish was tasty and meaty, and the batter really nice as well, in fact too yummy. Will deffo be back, 5 star food, only thing missing is some seating as you wait. Just thinking of disabled, and those just plain tired. But for me fish and chips at Torry Battery is brill, even better now with the quality of food from Dawns Plaice.
P. W.Quite simply the best Fish & Tatty you can get in Aberdeen. We have been coming here for the past 30 years, 20 from Danestone & now 10 from Pittodrie having moved. The service is also second to none. Trust me its fantastic and you better be prepared for making this your local. That batter just melts in your mouth. To die for...... ❤️

R. C.I live 4 doors down and have to actively stop myself from getting fish&chips everyday. The place is sooo clean too. Contrary to what others are saying about the size for the price, I think it's a very generous portion, even for the standard. Highly recommend!

R. M.Got a jumbo fish and jumbo sausage supper from here recently and the food quality was good. Portion size of the sausage supper wasn't incredible for the price you pay. Food overall was quite expensive. Staff were standing around doing nothing unless they were serving customers, and I was nearly ignored when I went to order. Would go back for the food, but was unimpressed by the shop.
g. g.called dawn friday afternoon to ask if she had skate and she kept the biggest wing for me, it was cooked to perfection, my wife had king rib and chips, this meal was the best chipper meal we have both eaten and we are nearly 60, we are eating from dawns plaice every friday and never been let down.
