My only complaint is the price which is a bit on the steep side, but that aside in a world of burger royalty and fast food clowns, Five Guys reigns supreme.

The food is relatively expensive. Other than that, brilliant service, nice food, great atmosphere. Also they're taking very strict measures concerning COVID-19 tracking and distancing. That was impressive to see. All in all, I had a good experience.

Must admit for a place I've walked passed numerous times I was pleasantly surprised by Five Guys. OK its a little pricy but once you have selected your burger (regular is two patties, small is one, an extra would be crazy) you can have any topping and as many as you like. Meaning for £8.95 you can have a double bacon cheese burger with everything from Mayo to Mushrooms. The large cajun fries for £5.95 are delicious and can feed three people, as can be seen on my picture. Really enjoyed it and definitely get a shake, yum!

Providing Aberdeen what it badly needs. The price matches the great food, large portions and exceptional quality. Can recommend a Double Cheeseburger, Fries and a Budweiser as a perfect lunch meal. If you want to eat garbage go down the road to McDonalds or other cheap and nasty places around - otherwise this should be the default place to stop.

I eat 5 guys a lot where ever I go as I work away a lot. This one seems to be the best one I have been to as every time I have had a meal it has been made to perfection and the staff are super nice and make the effort to be polite and talk to you. Appears to be mainly a supplier for just eat and deliveroo these days. The kitchen staff seemed under real pressure to meet these online orders. Minimal atmosphere inside - no trace of Christmas within despite it being 23 Dec. The total cost was about £30 for 2 adults and a 2 year old. Not unexpected but I don't think the quality/flavour was there compared to when it first opened. Better off going to BrewDog, they have table service, a better atmosphere and greater choice for same sort of price.

Arrive hungry! There's peanuts for you to snack on while you wait for your food! Standard burgers are doubles so if you only want a single you'll have to order a "little" version which isn't that little. Fries are also huge portions so a regular will feed 2-3 people. The burgers are cooked to order so a modest wait will get you a freshly cooked, juicy burger. I have to say it's my favourite burger ever. Make sure you check out all the toppings, the regular selection "all the way" is great but there's room to adapt it exactly how you like it. The fries are available seasoned (Cajun) but if you don't like too much of it you can ask for a pot of seasoning on the side. It's expensive, but it's worth it if you want to enjoy a quality burger.

Five guys is always amazing no matter the location. This time i was in Aberdeen and still the same brilliant tasty burger was made and eaten. The succulent and juicy meat mixed with a combination of cheese, onions and pickles, just mmmmmm. Not only was the food impeccable, Leah (the server) had eyes so mesmerising, The world around me fell silent and nothing else mattered.

I had some of the most welcoming and kindest treatment ever experienced in a restaurant. The whole staff is smiling and is a joy to watch at work! Their fries are amazing. Five guys does not make 5 stars burgers, but this particular restaurant has a 10 stars team!

It's a little bit pricey but it is more than worth it. The menu is highly customisable with a wide range of toppings for your burger and flavours for your milkshake. Plus, when they say small fries, they really mean large. My only problems; the place can get quite chilly and it is peanut city so not ideal for those with nut allergies. Best takeaway burger and chips money can buy in Aberdeen! Add as much toppings from the wide choice as you want and sit in to get bottomless sodas! The prices here are quite high and I use this place as more of a treat, but it is delicious every time! The chips are made from their on grow of American potatoes and fried in peanut oil, giving them a unique taste and crisp. Certainly not for nut allergy sufferers! One thing I could say is as this place runs an open plan kitchen they need to pay more attention to the cleanliness of their kitchen floor!

Food is good but very overpriced. We had for burgers with chips and drinks and we were over £45. The food was tasty and had lots of flavour but it just doesn't seem worth it over the cost of a 'standard' fast food joint. There doesn't appear to be any recycling of rubbish when you are finished your meal, straws, bags, cups and wrappers all go in the same bin bag. It's okay but doesn't meet the hype.

I had often walked past the 5 guys restaurant and I finally took the plunge and went in to test the place out. I was guided through the menu by a helpful member of staff and informed how the process worked. I chose a burger and fries (various options available) and was told that my order number would be called out when ready. I was with my small child at the time, so we got a high chair and chilled out in the seating area. Eventually my order number was called after what felt like a very long time. I have heard that they cook to order so I did not mind the wait. The order was handed over (still very hot) and I went back to my table. I opened up the well wrappped burger to find it was not getting any marks for presentation! I started eating it to find the presentation was over rated anyway. The food was very tasty and juicy and immediately, I was impressed. The whole experience was easy (with a little wait) but well worth that wait! I would highly recommend you try before judging (and please don't judge the presentation until you've tasted!)

Not quite sure what everyone is raving about. Burgers were ok, a bit on the greasy side. Very generous portion of chips. Hot dog, however, was almost inedible. You could taste the nitrates dripping from this offering. We spent almost £30 on 2 burgers, some chips, a hot dog and a bottle of water. Excellent food. Quality just as good as in the USA. Some may consider it pricey. E.g. a bacon hamburger, cheese hamburger, regular fries and two drinks (refillable) is about £28, buy it is filling! If you've never been, here's some tips.to hopefully help you from getting caught out/surprised: • A hamburger contains two beef patties (more like a burger king patty than a McDonald's one, so more filling); • Little hamburger is one beef patty; • Toppings are free (jalapeno, peppers, etc. So fill your burger up); • Bacon is crispy bacon (none of the chewy, fatty nonsense you get everywhere else!); and • Fries are delicious, cooked in peanut oil (may sound odd, but it works a treat!). A regular fries easily feeds two people. Enjoy. 🍔🍟👌

Best burgers in Aberdeen. Pricey for fast food but you get want you pay for. Just head and shoulders above other fast food joints and most restaurant burgers alike. Tips for Five Guys newbies: the standard burger is a big double burger so you may want to downsize. A large fries will do 2-3 people. So although the prices look sky high you can cut back on what you would normally order and be more than full! Drinks are all refillable too as you play around with the crazy permutations offered by their drinks machines... Diet Strawberry Dr Pepper... mmmm.

I went here last night, the second week of opening because I had to see what the fuss was about, having heard about the Five Guys Glasgow store. The place was heaving either because of late night shopping or people curious just like me. Because of this the queues were out the door, and so the doors were held wide open. As I was taking my food away, this didn't bother me but as it was a freezing cold night there were people at tables wrapped in their jackets and scarves munching their food looking quite glum about it. The music was good but very loud making it hard for the server to here you and vice versa, like trying to buy a beer at a gig. I think its mainly to drown out the sound of the sizzling coming from the open kitchen. Although its nice to see your food being prepared, It would be better if the kitchen was somewhat closed off a little or the tills moved elsewhere. That being said there is additional seating upstairs where you can get away from the cold and loudness of downstairs. Getting my order was OK but it would be better if there was a machine on the wall telling you which order was being shouted. My order was dealt with quickly so I was half way down the queue of waiting people when I was shouted so she had to shout like 3 times before I heard her. Being a veggie, my choice was limited to a veggie sandwich or toastie. Im used to this by now so no complains from me as with subways/dominos etc, toppings for me are my favourite part! I went with the veggie sandwich with the works toppings (standard toppings plus some extras) and extra jalapenos. My sandwich was so stuffed, it was hard to eat but was deliciously melted and so perfect I didn't even miss the fact there was no form of patty in it. Since there were mushrooms in it, it reminded me of an upgraded portobello mushroom burger. If you're a fussy veggie, you can choose more toppings and really get your moneys worth. The Five Guys style small chips were enough for 2 people I'd say but soooooooo salty they were off-putting and I only ate a few and I hate wasting food. Overall I enjoyed my meal, I can see this being a place to go for hangover munchies if you can be arsed waiting in the queue. My meal cost around £7.50, was more enjoyable than Mcds or BKs and unlike there, I was fuller for longer. However I would wait a while until the hype dies down before I go back.

Five Guys is 100% way better than McDonald’s. Five guys (for a beef burger) would give you 2 beef patties which are perfectly cooked and cheese which is melted. I would say five guys is more fresh then McDonald’s as the beef is hot enough for the cheese to melt. Five guys do cook your (for example) beef patty only once it’s ordered or else there in none cooked in advanced. Five guys has great milkshakes as well as selection for refillable drinks. Including for example Fanta (normal), Fanta zero, Fanta no bubbles and Fanta no bubbles zero. With the machine holding over 100 options of drinks you should check it out ‘Coca Cola freestyle’ Overall five guys comes with a price higher than McDonald’s the quality is extremely different! I’ve never had an issue with five guys so I recommend going there! Ps the large fries are about the same size as the drink cup for the refill machine so be careful about what size of fries you should get ! They always put extra in the paper bag

Five Guys is a well established chain. I have been to the ones in London, Dundee and Glasgow and I must say they are all good. Same goes with the Aberdeen one. Couple of points. 1. It is not expensive. You are getting a double burger fries and a drink for about £10 and it is cracking! So people who are complaining about that. Don't go. 2. The music is not loud. I don't know if anyone has been to a gig or even a pub past 9pm but it is hardly that loud. I heard everything. 3. The waiting time for me was fine even though it was packed. The only thing that took a while to get was the juice as one machine was out of order and the other one had some ignorant young girl who pushed into the line. 4. The only bad point I can make on visiting there is how untidy it was. People leaving straw packets and not cleaning up their own table. Apart from that all the Aberdonians will be loving it. A new place to moan and complain about.
