I. S.Absolutely delicious food! We had a large selection of different, great foods from the menu to try everything. It was all great!
The service and atmosphere were brilliant.
I took some photos of the starters but forgot to take photos of the mains. By the time I remembered, half of the food was gone already (it was that nice).
F. L.One of my favourite Aberdeen restaurants, usually go to the Holburn Street branch but as it's closed we went to Marischal square venue. Food was great, service was great and the location is really nice too. Large portions so maybe I wouldn't have two courses next time but it's all so tasty it was worth it. Highly recommended!
R. S.As a huge fan of the original Maggie’s Grill on Holburn St, I was delighted to see they were expanding into Marischal Square with a second site and I was keen to try it out.
Whilst it doesn’t have the charm and warmth of the original, the food here is still top quality. The brisket was sublime, and with great beer from Fierce Beer on tap, there’s very little not to like here! It’s head and shoulders above the chain restaurants in the area, and the fact it’s a growing local business is great for Aberdeen!
A. N.As a southerner living in Aberdeen, I found the food to be authentic and delicious! It also came out very quickly, hardly any wait at all. The only thing I would say is that I hope they add sweet tea to their menu, maybe even some fried green tomatoes 😊
L. F.The meat, particularly the ribs, were mouth watering 🤤 and you get a decent portion. If you can't finish it all, having a box to take the remainder home afterwards seemed to be encouraged. Staff were really friendly. I found the hush puppies dry, but I'm not sure what they are supposed to be like?! Will return to dry some other options.
H.Pulled pork was delicious 🤤 pulled beef burger was good too but pork will be juicier! Pecan pie was ok, platter wise good for sharing but will recommend to go for their burger!
A. M.As an American in Aberdeen, this was a pure taste of back home. Went here for Thanksgiving 2021 and loved it! Ordered the a thanksgiving meal and pumpkin pie for dessert, also had the homemade pickles. Everything was so good! The staff also make you feel so welcomed and relaxed. I would highly recommend this place and definitely want to come back.
A. C.Every time I come here it exceeds expectations. The food is phenomenal, the service is fantastic and it's actually really good value. The fact they put down their suppliers names on the menu is also a really nice touch. This is probably my favourite restaurant in Aberdeen.
b.Have eaten at Maggie’s many times & they remain completely wonderful. Food is exceptional (in quality & size!) and the ladies are so friendly & helpful. Just the best place in Aberdeen to eat!
Just make sure you ask for a takeaway box for the leftovers!
